The room was very clean, but only gave room cleanliness 3 stars because they need to clean the a/c vents, especially in the bedroom. Full of dust and other particles. Not good when A/C is on, as all this gets blown in the air you breathe.

Rooms are small. No where to put your suitcase. Tables are all scratched up. Not satisfied. Would not stay there if I went to st Catherine’s again.

Have stayed many times over the last 6 years, as my daughter was going to Brock University. I always booked a room with 2 double beds, and got a beautiful room with a bedroom and sitting area, frig, closet etc. this time double room with 2 beds no closet or hangers or dresser for clothes ironing board and iron just sitting on floor, plus a wine frig, temp of 67 when checked in. The front desk gentlemen was not helpful when asked about sitting outside and bar help didn’t know what drinks were available just pointed to menu. Not the best stay I’ve had here.

Our assigned room is starting to show its age. Old curtains; some shades had no drawstrings; bathroom door difficult to close;pillows were awful; sofa bed springs could be felt while sitting; causal chair was extremely hard. Certainly below the standard that we were expecting

This is usually an excellent hotel, the rooms are clean, hallways are spacious, staff are friendly. However, when I went to take a shower this morning, the “body wash” bottle was empty. Then, when checking out, they charged me $5 for parking…I’ve neve payed in the past??

Everything was great, except the food. Breakfast was meh at best. We tried to have dinner the one night and they were out of 8 different menu items (half the menu). The beer was cold and servers tried their best, we appreciated that.

Staff were friendly enough but our two television sets didn’t work for two of our three day stay. We notified the front desk who sent someone with a different remote, then sent up the head of housekeeping around seven thirty pm, then sent someone from maintenance just before ten. At no point were we offered a new room or even a discounted rate. The problem was never solved and we discovered a few outlets and lamps in the room just didn’t work.

The sofa bed was too soft and my friend has a hard time to sleep through the night. The washroom was not clean and there was a mole along the edge of the shower which was quite disgusting.

went on a Monday and hotel was quiet. Free upgrade was provided. Staff were friendly. Pool is on small side. Not much amenities in the area and would have to drive downtown.
