Howe Sound Inn & Brewing Company

Brewery and hotel together, perfect. Restaurant was good, fairly busy. On site Brewery has won many awards ,beer was very good. Rooms are dated ,flashback to the 70s 80s,but were very clean and had the amenities you needed with fridge and stove. Had a great view of "The Chief" mountain range. The staff was very friendly. Would stay there again.

Beds were great which is why I said ok and not awful. There was kariok

Easy access to town

Lots of character and it's great to have a brew pub restaurant in the hotel. The lack of secure parking is a problem for motorcyclists.

Well it’s basic. Cleanish. Attached to a pub who do decent food and beer. Breakfast is included, don’t bother, it’s the worst offering I’ve ever seen in any hotel I’ve ever stayed in.

The room was not furnished to accommodate proper storage for clothing. Very old and dated. Very tight bathroom space. Overpriced. Probably would never consider staying there again.

No outside space to relax in

It was an okay stay. The view was fantastic and the food from the pub was great. Only thing that didn’t exceed with our expectation was the customer service of the staff of the hotel. Everyone was either nonchalant or sarcastic when answering question.

This was a unique option for accommodation in the Howe Sound area. Parking was difficult ultrasound to access for overnight . We had to park in a two hour time a lot and watch for an available overnight spot to open up. The on site brewery and restaurant was good. The room was comfortable but rather warm . The heat lamp in the bathroom was missing and therefore non functional for use after a bath or shower . The continental breakfast in the morning was a nice way to start the day.

Amazing! Super cozy. Loved being able to walk down to sunshine coffee place. Super quick drive to awesome hikes as well. I would stay here again.

Great location. Great views. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants. Great staff. Nice having the bar and restaurant on site. Older building but very pleasant. The only downside is the walls are thin so you hear a lot.

The room was very basic. It was clean and had hot water with good water pressure. The decor was not updated, but it met out needs to have a place to stay in the area while exploring Shannon Falls and the provincial parks. The breakfast was packaged muffins, juice boxes, envelopes for oatmeal, small cereal boxes, etc. The staff was friendly and helpful. The brew pub/restaurant was excellent. It has a good fun crowd so we enjoyed our evening there.

This hotel is not fancy, but it works if you need to stay in Squamish. We’ve stayed multiple times over the years and it’s a good Friday stop if you have an early lesson at Whistler in the morning. The rooms with day beds are helpful if you’re travelling with a child. The pub is good, and there is a “breakfast” of sorts left out upstairs in the morning (think, boxes of cereal and plastic fruit cups). Booking through Expedia can make things a bit more difficult with this hotel, though. When we discovered that our room was made up for two and had no bedding for the day bed and only two towels, we were informed by the front desk staff that they do not get this info from Expedia and you have to call them separately if you want the room made up for three. However, if you do try to phone them (we had to on a separate issue), they don’t pick up and there’s no voicemail.

Nice staff very helpful and cooperative. Would be nice if some eggs and fruit are added to the breakfast

Decent location and nice hotel. We loved the window seat looking out over the mountains. Check in and parking was easy. We also ate on site at the brewery, which was pretty good. Unfortunately when we arrived in our room it smelled TERRIBLE! We opened both the windows and the door to try to air it out, and at one point were even searching under the bed and in drawers to see if a previous guest had hidden a turd. For reference, we are cattle farmers so we’re pretty used to unpleasant smells at home, but this was bad! The smell eventually got better, but never completely went away.

Very charming. Has elevator for us old folks. Room did not have easy chair. Nice chairs in lounge.
