We loved our stay at Pumillo Mountain and Beach Resort.
We couldn't see the beach from the resort but we really enjoyed the forest- like setting. The rooms were comfortable with a great view of the pool and the foliage. The pool was refreshing, the massages were reasonably priced and incredibly relaxing ( and the massages are done in a beautiful pagoda like structure surrounded by foliage).
The dinner and breakfast were very good, as was the service.
We will definitely be back!!

me and my wife had the best experience. Wow the attention was like the four seasons, incredible staff friendly, and helped us out tremendously.
If you are looking for an amazing trip to Costa Rica, this is the place.
Got to deal with the supervisor Daniel and hope they were both amazing and genuinely good people
Definitely recommend this place and definitely will be back with my wife

Good stay, very comfortable mattress. The jacuzzi didn't fill all of the way, even after asking for a service visit (minor inconvenience). Felt a little like the main elements of the suite were nice, but the edges were a little ruff, like there was a weird piece of plastic hanging from the roof of the patio, the jacuzzi doesn't fill all the way, and the patio table was very lop sided, but it looked beautiful and was very comfortable to sleep in.

Such a retreat! We had a room with a private jacuzzi, it was great to relax after a long day of travelling. The rooms are very spacious and clean, with nice, comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious. The location is on a quiet street. We would highly recommend this hotel!

This feels like a hidden gem. It is a smaller quiet hotel in the middle and of the jungle. We saw birds & lizards. The pool is beautiful. The staff is amazing & so helpful. They were happy to help with anything we needed. It was family friendly. We felt safe. Highly recommend!

It’s always been a pleasure to stay here. Staff is warm and friendly. The property is well maintained, rooms are clean and well stocked. Raccoons are slight inconvenience sometimes lol but that’s nature for you. Anyway, will keep coming back for many more years! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

I stay here very often. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My son lives just 200 meters up Las Monas and I always stay here when I am visiting with him. Wonderful chef for breakfast. The pool are and amenities are always tidy and clean. Thanks for the consistency over the years!

The facility is beautiful and our room had a patio right in front of the pool and spa. Breakfast was delicious and the staff is amazing and kind. Only negative thing is there isnt anything in walking distance regarding shopping or food.
