The view from this room is superb. Yes, as others have complained, you have to walk up lots of steps to get to it but you're basically on the top of the city walls and can see out over the whole old town.

Had a great stay with even better views. The weather was warm so the AC was great for the night. We use backpacks to travel which made the stairs much easier, as there are a lot. If you are a heavy packer, may not be the place for you. View of the wall is unmatched. Yes, you can see ppl easily but the curtains provide great privacy during the day when the wall is busy. Would absolutely recommend booking this room.

I like to walk and don’t mind stairs. If you are like me you will be ok… it’s a bit of an old town labyrinth to get to the room but it’s high above there . At the same level as the wall of the old town. The wall is far enough that no one will look into your window,, I have to disagree with another reviewer who complained about the people on the walls being too close to the window…. I liked the view of the old town roofs . High ceiling. Everything was basic, the high above was what I needed from the space .

The view from this property is amazing — it’s located at the top of Dubrovnik’s Old City. The staff is remote but responsive on WhatsApp, which was helpful for quick replies. However, the overall experience had too many issues: • ❌ AC didn’t cool the room properly • Filters were cleaned on Day 2, but cooling didn’t improve (photo attached) • We were told to use a fan instead — the room stayed pretty hot • ❌ Shower water kept switching between hot and cold • Made it uncomfortable to take a proper shower • ❌ Bathroom was hot and had no ventilation • No fan, no airflow, and you can’t leave the door open or it heats the bedroom • ❌ Only a thin sheet provided as a blanket • No proper bedding, which made sleep uncomfortable • ❌ Approx. 200 stairs to reach the room (video attached on Google review) • Tough with luggage — I used a porter service (Baggage & Smile) for 2 bags approx. €50 one-way. Private service you can book seperately. • All good restaurants are downhill, so be ready to climb those stairs after every meal 😉 • ❌ You have to lock/unlock 3 separate doors every time you leave or enter — a small but annoying inconvenience ✅ Positives: • Amazing view • Quick communication via WhatsApp 💬 Overall: Great view, but too many practical drawbacks. For the price, I expected a much more comfortable and hassle-free stay. I wouldn’t book it again.

The place has beautiful view and it’s right in the Old Town so it was super convenient. The AC worked great and they even provided a fan (we didn’t use but it was appreciated). The cleaning staff did a wonderful job and the host was very responsive (via WhatsApp). Only a couple “cons”, the building is pretty old so the water pressure isn’t great and the temp of the water varies while you shower. It’s up high on a hill so lots and lots of stairs, you eventually get used to it especially if you’re staying there for a week or so. It was tough the first few days, especially bringing the luggages up. I feel like a picture of how many stairs you actually have to walk up should be shown as part of the ad because I was not expecting that much. I guess that’s the price of having a beautiful view overlooking the old town. I was a little concerned when I got there because it was 3 rooms sharing a unit. However, it was quiet and barely noticed our neighbours so not a problem at all. The brochure says cleaning occurs the 3rd or 4th day but I felt it came a little later than that… Overall, it was a pleasant stay and I’d recommend it for those who are decently strong and active.

The room was just fine, but the building was a bit dirty. Service was responsive but not extraordinary. A few notes: - I was a bit surprised by the walk to the apartment. The booking does mention the stairs but it’s certainly understated. You will be walking up several hundred steps to get to the room - be sure to pack lightly. - There are luggage lockers in Dubrovnik if you need, however that wasn’t offered at check in so be sure to research on your own. - the room was right next to the city wall so people can see into your room. - the sunlight heats the room quickly and gets very hot. The host told us to keep the thermostat at 22, however it was far too hot for that

Pros: The room was clean. The staff (even far away from the property) was responsive. Cons: To get to the room you have to climb hundreds of stairs. The building, where the room is located, is very stinky. The smell of rotting fish and cigarettes is overwhelming. In the afternoon, sun is beaming at the room but the airconditioning isn’t powerful enough to keep the room cool.

Amazing view of the city and wall, but in a quieter area of old town. A bit of a climb but nothing crazy. And a great proximity to Pile Gate where just outside you can catch the city bus wherever you need to go, including the ferry port. Super convenient!

Amazing place with incredible view of old town. A lot of stairs to get to the apartment proper as well as within the building to get to the room. The property itself isn’t as fully maintained (though that gives it a certain charm), though the room is excellent and modernized. Staff were friendly, responsive and helpful

Overall we were somewhat disappointed with the stay. The room itself was clean and seemed newly renovated which was nice. Communication was also easy. No complaints there. However, to get to the building you had to climb a large number of stairs (hundreds) which was difficult with 30 kg + of suitcases. In addition to this the rooms are inside a large old and rundown building with many other tenants. Was a bit eerie in the late evening in the dark. You also need to lock/unlock three separate doors to get to the room. Was not expecting that and was thus disappointed with the stay. If you bare this in mind the room was nice with all necessary amenities. And the reception were very nice.
