Amazing place!

Staff was super nice and pool/beach area is beautiful, but the rooms are very dirty and food was either raw or has little to no taste.

Excellent service, spacious room, the pool super nice, food very good with tons a options, excellent price.

Staff were fantastic - friendly, helpful, courteous and lively. Rooms were dingy - small with little walking space; however, we liked the walkout balconies. Many gaps between the door edges allowed mosquitoes to have a good time having our blood. Restaurant staff and food were excellent and the chefs were always around to help guests enjoy their meals. We could not use the pool tables as the machines never worked. Nice activities in the evenings. Bar and pool staff (including entertainers) were excellent. This hotel had no close by shops/ mercado - travel by Uber/ taxi was a ripoff so any trip utside the resort cost min,US$100

Wonderful resort, very clean and the people were great

Property was beautiful staff was wonderful. Beach setup was nice but it’s on an inlet so the water is not at all appealing. Pool was great.

The staff at the Bahia Principe Grand were amazing, very attentive people. What I didn’t like was the room refrigerator, it was supposed to be a mini bar, but it wasn’t good at all. Inside the fridge were two Pepsis, two beers, and one bottle of water. The room didn’t have hot water all week. The room’s ac wasn’t working properly, but the fixed it within a couple of hours. The drinks at the bars were local lowest of the lowest, definitely bottom shelf. I would recommend to those that are looking to go there to book their reservations to the restaurants before they get there. Unfortunately I didn’t do it and all reservations were booked. I was lucky enough to have a cancellation and I got in. The beer they offered was only tap beer and it was horrible. I wished they would have had bottled beer. I will not return to this resort

The staff is amazing

What a wonderful trip! Fabulous food at buffet, very clean, great pool & relaxing. Bartenders and entertainment staff could have been friendlier and kept guest more up beat & fun.

We were on the adult only side and it was amazing. Entertainment staff was great and every bartender was always aware of our needs/wants. They had 24 hr room service and the suites are beautiful. Property grounds are probably the most beautiful I have seen at any resort.

It's a nice, old resort. It needs to be renovated. Also, the resort needs to employee more staff that speak English. Finally, even though the food was plentiful, it was mandane. I would recommend better signage about the food and for the hotel to introduce more vegan options.

Food was okay. Service and dining were not good. Entertainment was great. Rooms were okay.

I recommend that you clean the beach of jellyfish because they stung us and we couldn't enjoy it. The first time was 20 years ago and now that I'm back the same thing happened, they stung us too.

If i could give this resort 0 stars across the board I would. All of the pictures on the app are fake. The resort is extremely outdated! The rooms beds were very hard and uncomfortable, there was no minibar in the room, we had NO hot water the entire weekend there was no shower pressure, there is molding in the bathroom you can smell, upon arrival the shower was still dirty. The phone in the room did not work so we can not call the front desk for anything. When we walked to the front desk with our concerns they ALL acted like they had no idea and couldn’t successfully point us to management to address these concerns. They do NOT care about their guests AT ALL. The buffet SUCKED nothing at all was good nothing was tasty at all! I had a burger and could not get off the toilet the entire day i missed an excursion due to falling ill. Let’s not forget the endless amount of water bugs that were popping out just falling from the ceiling in our room. I was supposed to be on vacation and could not wait to get home!

Absolutely a great place to stay. Top notch service and perfect place for relaxing.

The entire staff was friendly and beyond professional.
