Property exceeded expectations

Unhappy with butler, didn’t help us with anything really, only met with us after we requested to meet with him after bugging the concierge several time. He got our reservations mixed up. Maybe he had too much going on. We saw another butler giving some clients a tour of the facilities, he seemed attentive and friendly, too bad he wasn’t ours

Loved our butler Edith.❤️ She took care off all our needs and went over and beyond to help us. The property is beautiful and the adult beach area was awesome.

We had a great time for our 1st marriage anniversary. We had great service from beginning to end being in the Colonial Club. I liked the different options for food, so you can try them and see which you like best. Matsuri for dinner was our favorite. The area around the property is underdeveloped, but the resort can’t control that. They create a beautiful environment once you enter their grounds. Service every where on site was exceptional!

Very safe and staff was top of the world

The property is outdated: the shower cabins are old, the water is not warm/hot all the time. The paint on the walls were pilled, and the couch had stains.

Beautiful property, nice size do it had great amenities yet small enough to walk from beach to various events in a reasonable amount of time . Beach and pools were beautiful and spacious, staff were amazing . Super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We are already planning our trip back with some friends. No need to spend time shopping for another resort.

The property is very pretty, kept well and the services were emasculate. I did Have a problem with the room, had a leak from the air conditioning, complained about it and did not get a room change after it happened more than one night. Overall the services were excellent and the property very beautiful.

Overall, I’d rate this hotel as a good 3-star resort, but several issues affected our stay: Minuses: 1. Our indoor jacuzzi had a lot of mold, making it unpleasant to use. 2. The bathroom had drainage problems—water pooled during showers. Maintenance cleaned the drain but left it uncovered. 3. Rain caused the bathroom ceiling to leak, even near wires and a phone—unsafe and inconvenient. 4. We constantly felt pressured to tip, even for small things like water at the bar. Staff often seemed displeased if we didn’t. 5. The private beach was overrun with aggressive vendors who disturbed guests, even while napping. Security did nothing. 6. A noisy, smelly tractor cleaned seaweed during late morning hours—not ideal for beachgoers. 7. Rooms were outdated, and towels (including beach towels) were worn out. Pluses: • Convenient beach access. • Decent, varied food. • The hotel felt safe. • Plenty of entertainment and evening shows.

Property was great so was the service.

This place was amazing The beds were comfortable. The pillows were comfortable and the rooms were clean they had many activities to do every single day for adults for kids. They had pool volleyball. They had volleyball in the sand they had Zumba. They had water aerobics bingo bull riding theater shows it was amazing but what really made it memorable was the staff Jose Alberto vital Castillo Bimba and Candela we love and thank you for making our vacation memorable, and the reason that we will come back. The staff is super important. These three were happy every single day morning noon and night.

The property was beautiful! We especially loved the pool, the spa, and the beachside steakhouse and the Japanese restaurants!! But the very best thing was the people working there. Everyone was so friendly and helpful! I ended up forgetting something and Camila in concierge guest services went out of her way to help me get it back. She was incredible! I will recommend this property to everyone I know.

Beautiful setting. Grounds were lovely. Beach was very nice with a lot of seating. Pools were very nice. Food was okay. Nightly entertainment in the theater was not good. Music around the complex was good. Housekeeping did a good job. They were very noisy early in the morning. Would go again.

My family and I had an amazing time! Although it was small, there was entertainment throughout the day. Music by the pool, dancers, group fitness classes in the pool, party by the beach, bands and karaoke. The staff in the resort were also AMAZING! Extremely friendly and polite and made us feel very welcomed. The food was good as well. There were several restaurants to pick from but during our stay we mostly went to the buffets and the Japanese restaurant. I would definitely recommended and would consider coming back.

Great all inclusive. Staff at all levels were very friendly. Service at bars, poolside and restaurants was excellent. Buffets had a huge selection and food very fresh. Butler service had us spoiled and pampered. Edwin was great. Very nice stay.

We really enjoyed our stay — the hotel has a beautiful territory and offers a very diverse and delicious food selection. It was our second time visiting, and this time we came to celebrate our anniversary. We informed the hotel in advance about this special occasion and were hoping for at least a small gesture to mark the day. Unfortunately, nothing was arranged — not even a simple note or sign on our door, while we noticed that other guests were being congratulated for their anniversaries or birthdays. It was a bit disappointing, especially since we had shared this information ahead of time. We still had a pleasant stay, but for future special occasions, we might consider another hotel where such moments feel more appreciated.
