All the staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble. Due to the hotels central location, it makes it much easier for me to meet up with my sister. I have mobility difficulties and the hotel is very good at catering for me and my needs. My friend and I will definitely be staying here again.

I was really surprised at the twin room I.booked for my grandson and I, it was excellent value for money. Perfect for our one night stay. Plenty of room comfortable beds, nice big TV, not we watched much of it. The breakfast was also very good, with self service full English, fruit, pastries, meats etc. The only downside was the car park. During our visit there is major construction work taking place in the area. I was given instruction, it took me 4 times round till I figure out I needed to.go down what was basically a dirt track... and no way look like any kind of road. But overall, apart from i would recommend the hotel, certainly for a short stay.

Nice hotel. Staff excellent and tentative. Nice to have fridge in room. Spacious room well equipped and large tv. Unfortunately room felt a little dated decor wise. Great breakfast selection

Nice walking distance from the city centre. Had to a bit of difficulty finding it due to the road works and sat nav takes you down a pedestrian road.
Everything fine/average apart from the horrible smell in the room. You got used to it a a minute or two but when you walked back into the room it hit you every time. I was only there for two nights otherwise I would have moved

Also @ the moment there is a lot of building work going on outside the hotel & the road you take to go in the hotel carpark is very difficult to find. An Advanced warning by email would have been very helpful.

Centrally located although decor is dated. The main entrance is via steps and didn’t seem very disabled access friendly. There is no air con and in room fridge was noisey. Seemed as though room had had a quick clean not full clean as dust and marks in bathroom. Hotel just seemed quite tired but obvious updates being made as skips of rubbish outside.

Exactly as I expected from the other reviews. Very clean, friendly staff comfortable (enough) beds. Breakfast was super fpr the price. Free coffee machine (cappuccino, latte, hot chocolate, hot water, coffee) available in reception. Tea

Positives- very clean throughout, friendly staff, bed was amazingly comfortable and made for a great night's sleep. The location is also great, very central and easy access to everything.
Negatives - room was very dated, badly scuffed, old fashioned furniture and the smallest TV I've ever seen in a hotel room. Bathroom was clean but again outdated and in need of renovation, also the hand wash was watered down which was very odd!

The hotel itself was enjoyable, including a good breakfast, but the exterior approach and the different entrances was confusing and not attractive. Hopefully this might improve once the adjacent landscaping project is complete.
Location is good in terms of adjacency to tue station, university, the Box, and city shopping, restaurants etc.
