Crestfield Hotel

Pros: comfy beds, good water pressure and hot water, friendly staff, great location by St Pancras. Cons: not their fault but loud construction across the street beginning at 8:30am, no elevator

The only positive for this place is it's proximity to the train stations- St. Pancras and Kings Cross. It was noisy the whole time we were there, except maybe early morning. The whole night there was loud music playing, thundering in our ears. I had ear plugs but still heard them. So only got a few hours of sleep. The room itself is making me claustrophobic, there were two doors to get to the room, a tight squeeze plus no lift so had to carry luggage thru two flights of stairs. Outside in the afternoon we got there, there was also construction going on. In other hotels they indicate if there will be inconveniences like that, so I am glad we only booked one night. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. We checked in late afternoon, almost night time and got out before we even got breakfast. Normally we get brekky, go back to do our business, then check out. But this time, I was happy to go early. I am not returning here if ever I need to use Eurostar again. Our hotels for this trip in Paris, Strasbourg and Colmar are much better. We paid 245 pounds for one night here while in Strasbourg, we paid the same amount for two nights with kitchenette. We just paid extra 52 euros for brekky and tax, well worth it!

Even though these rooms are small and do not have a frig or microwave, they are clean and located close to a great coffee shop. They also have several stores nearby that have grocery items, and a train and tube station are also very close.

I've stay in this hotel twice before, very clean, I specially enjoy the bottles of still and sparkling water. However I was disappointed to find out that now a bathmat is not being given and just one hand towel for two guests, so I need to go down and requested both.

Very tiny rooms but well-equipped with everything you need. I had fast WiFi, a hot shower and a very easy walk to St. Pancras

Good hotel for a night

The room was very nice and very clean. The bathroom was small but functional. Directly across street from Underground and train stations. I’d certainly stay there again.

Small, clean and compact. Idealfor the frw hours we spent there before an early rise. Only downside was the noisy fan in the toilet which went on for 15 minutes !

Great location but not elevator and stairs are super narrow. You have to leave your room key every time you go out…

Updated rooms, quiet and comfortable. Close to kings cross

Its very close to the station. Staff was very professional. You leave the key at the front desk so you never need to worry about the key when you're out and about. This way the staff cleans your rooms so its nice and neat when you come back.

Wonderful spot near Kings Cross station, the room met spec. It was cheap which is hard to find in London, but very clean. I stayed as a solo traveler and had a single twin bed, the room was small, but that’s all I needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Crestfield Hotel is a small hotel located very near Kings Cross Train Station. While the room was small and bathroom tiny, the beds were comfortable and it was fairly quiet until the construction started, but by then we were up. Rate was good for location and staff was very helpful. I don't believe there is a lift(elevator), so choose a room on main floor, which is 0, as stairway is very narrow. 1st floor is upstairs and there are rooms on level -1. Also location less than 1 mile to British Museum. Basically a great location if you have a train departing Kings Cross or St Pancras stations.

The only thing I liked about this place was it was close to the train station. The room was dinky. Could barely get around in the bathroom. Not impressed. Would not stay here again and gladly pay a little bit more for something more decent. I will say though at least the room is clean.

Great little hotel, minutes away from easy transport. Small, but comfortable rooms. No frills, but there's tea/coffee in the room, and it's a great price for the area. Would stay again.

If you’re looking for a hotel close to Kings Cross, which has everything you need for a night or two this is the place. Good price, quiet, wifi, and en-suite.

Prooerty was clean and service was excellent. Desk agents helped me with my luggage and gave great info about the area. Had a range of beverages to purchase and saved dragging lots of water etc to the hotel. Overall great trip!
