Crowne Plaza LIVERPOOL CITY CENTRE by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Air conditioning a little loud and not effective at cooling room. Moan about the cut off times for kids at the pool. We choose to stay there for the pools but could not use them as it was adults only after 7pm.

Excellent service had by All the staff & polite.

The properties location was petfect and had on site parking which was great. We had a club room which was worth the upgrade as canopes and drinks for 2 hours was very nice. The swimming pool was very busy so didn't use this, didn't like the fact i had to book prior but it was Easter Holidays so think yoh have to accept that. Overall we will back.

Amazing staff. Lovely presentation of rooms. The only thing we didn’t like was that the room was too hot. Despite having air re circulation, it was sssooo hot!

Staff make this hotel. From check-in, the executive lounge, the pool (booked a free slot) to the housekeeping. All lovely and genuinely friendly. Stayed in the White Star Suite, which had a great view and access to the lounge, one of the best lounge offerings with drinks and appitizers we've stayed in the UK. Also included some spirits served by the friendly host who you can tell loved his job looking after everyone. We will definitely return.

First time stay at the Crown Plaza Liverpool. We chose it because I'd stayed at another of the group hotels before and was impressed, and because it was close to where we needed to be in Liverpool and also the Isle of Man Steam Packet terminal. The staff we encountered were all excellent. Friendly, positive and helpful without exception. Our room was comfortable and equipped as you'd expect of a hotel of this standing. We ate in the restaurant one evening and also had breakfast in the hotel. The food and service were all good. There was a bit of an issue with the air conditioning in our room which meant for an uncomfortable first night. I reported this first thing the next morning and the problem was resolved within an hour. I thought this was a great response. It would be nice to have opening windows as I prefer real fresh air to air conditioning, but that seems to be pretty common in hotels these days.

Arrived and parked in the hotel car park with no problem, we were given a Liver Building facing room which was fabulous. Food in the restaurant was delicious and service was great. Only downside was the very cold air conditioning, even when the temperature was turned up a bit, slightly restricted dining options and had to book an hour slot in the swimming pool.

Stayed here for a two night stay whilst visiting Liverpool. It is well situated and has on site parking which was important to us. I always saw Crowne Plaza as a mid to upmarket positioned hotel brand. Consequently I felt disappointed with quality of the room. It was far too hot, the shower water pressure was poor and we didn't sleep well. Breakfast was good
