Great hotel, friendly reception, clean rooms and good location. Only criticism, breakfast pastries and breads limited selection and mini muffins dry.

Room was clean but small especially the bathroom and the shower wasn’t good at all The mattress was awful on the sofa bed so thin .First morning breakfast was good the second morning was not good at all there wasn’t much left when asked for pastries was told they were in the oven 30 mins later was told there was none .Myself and my daughter didn’t have any breakfast as that’s all we have not happy to be lied to after paying for breakfast .We booked this hotel as it has a pool it looked nothing like the photo it was so small .Will not be staying again

Very convenient for the theatre.

The Hotel is light, airy and immaculately clean. The staff were delightfully friendly and helpful. My room was very comfortable and had all I needed. The location was perfect and the outdoor area of the hotel was very pleasant.

Food, staff, atmosphere

I’m honestly baffled how this hotel holds a 4.3 rating on Google. My recent stay was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. We booked two rooms (1020 and 1022) for two nights from May 24th, and it was a series of consistent disappointments, not just one isolated issue. Starting with the rooms—both were noticeably dated, with stained walls and carpets in desperate need of a deep clean. The bathroom was no better. The shower pressure was so weak it was barely usable, and the hot water tap in the bathtub didn’t work at all, leaving us no choice but to struggle with the ineffective shower. The temperature in the rooms was unbearable. Despite the air conditioning running at full blast and a table fan provided (clearly a known issue), it was still far too hot to sleep comfortably. The noise from both devices made it feel like we were trying to sleep inside a jet engine. To make matters worse, one of the rooms had windows that couldn’t be opened, leaving absolutely no relief from the heat. In one of the rooms, the telephone was broken and hanging off the wall, rendering it unusable. This became a major issue when we were told the hotel pool was too busy and they would call us when it was available. After waiting over two hours without a call, we discovered the phone didn’t work. By the time we went to the pool ourselves, we were told it was "after family hours" and were turned away. We reported the broken phone to staff, who said it would be fixed (it wasn’t), and they offered

Really nice property and nice staff. Had an excellent stay.

Stayed in a family room. On arrival sofa bed wasnt made up And had to call at 8pm to sort it out. Booked for three people but only cups, towels and water for two. Main bed was rock hard and sofa bed for teen was so thin they had to sleep in our bed. Setting and location lovely But not wirth £160 for a night

Lovely spacious, clean, pet free hotel. Nice bar area and garden terrace with a good breakfast buffet. We booked a standard king room. It was clean but the pillows were not supportive and the shower leaked. Overall a good stay and we will book again for our next visit to Statford.

Staff were friendly and helpful to a very high standard. Hotel is wonderfully situated on the Avon in easy reach of Stratford

Hotel has improved tremendously since our last stay many years ago

Big rooms. Lovely bedding.

In general the hotel is excellent and very well located especially as one of our friends has mobility issues. The breakfast was excellent too. The only thing letting it down was very low water pressure making showering difficult and not enough bar staff leading long waits for getting drinks although the bar area wasn’t particularly busy.

It is lovely hotel to stay in, but the breakfast for me was not good - the porridge was made with water and I could not eat it (my go to every morning) and they had no english tea available - I mean really!
