This place was incredible! Loved the hotel, rooms, staff, resturaunt, bars, location, loved all of it! Would definitely stay here again!!!

Although the public areas of the hotel are very impressive, we were bitterly disappointed with one of the two rooms we were allocated. Our two rooms were in two different buildings of the hotel and our double room was incredibly small & basic for the rate paid and a hotel of this rating. The second room was cold -even though the weather was mild during our stay - which is presumably an issue with the room as it was equipped with a plug in mobile radiator - which was much used. Breakfast was reasonable but again not the standard expected for a hotel of this rating. All in all a disappointing, overpriced stay.

The hotel was lovely and the staff friendly! We had a room on the 3rd floor at the front of the hotel. The room had another room up a small set of stairs above and you could really hear the other guests moving about above. The bed was super comfy with good amenities in the room inc tea, coffee, snacks ,water, iron, hair dryer, dressing gowns, umbrella etc. The bath was not a full size but the bathroom was clean and looked great.

The whole appearance of the hotel reflects its history. The room and bathroom was tastefully decorated. Staff were friendly and helpful, i was able to store my bag after checkout until i was ready to catch the train. The dinner menu is limited hiwever thr food was tasty and the breakfast was more than sufficient and again tasty. I was able to get wifi in public areas but stuffled in my room, however i hasn't staying there for long.

Everything was perfect. Learned about some of the history of the building talking to a staff member, really fascinating. Thankyou.

Arrived to check in at 4pm. Room not ready, had to wait another half hour. Offered a free drink while we waited. Young man who ordered a drink for us and offered to take our luggage to our room was very helpful , polite and friendly

Staff was great. Andrea at the frint desk was very helpful and Fran was also helpful with suggestions for dining.

Great hotel in Manchester

First time staying at The Clocktower and a really pleasant experience. Room, facilities and breakfast all first class and we will definitely be back.

Fabulous service from the front of house staff. The room was really well equipped, spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. The staff left a lovely gift for my husband's birthday.

A Beautiful room elegantly decorated and very clean. Service at reception was faultless and hotel was beautiful. However it must be said the service in the Restaurant (both in evening and breakfast) was less than stellar. During the evening meal my plates arrived fairly quickly but my partners didnt arrive for a further 20 minutes, we wanted to eat together but couldnt without my plate being cold, furthermore when we asked where the food was she told us it was on its way and it wasnt 3 times. Breakfast was quiet when we arrived and on the menu it states somebody will come over to take a coffee/tea order and it never happened. If this had been a cheap hotel i could let it fly but when you are paying £300+ a night that just isnt up to standard

Lovely stay at the hotel and the staff were great and the room sure comfy.

Beautiful hotel but the most basic room is absolutely basic. You'll pay less for much more in the surrounding hotels. There was no WiFi, the shower is very compact and the room was tiny. There was no coffee machine. The little coffee bags are very hard to open. There wasn't really a desk with a mirror so no proper place to get ready easily. Bed was comfy though and the bathroom was nicely decorated.

Other than a delay/queue to check-in everything was excellent. Will definitely stay at a Kimpton Hotel again.
