Outside looks ok, but the inside was appalling, it stank was dirty & the bathroom was dirty & mouldy. I was unable to stay as I felt sick at the thought of it so walked straight back out & found somewhere else to stay for the night. I appreciate it wasn’t an expensive place but it does need some work doing to it.

Was able to enter after 1 h . The key pad was not working. I called the emergency number provided where there was nobody to answer, left my details and contact number and nobody called back. The bed was horrendous and looked like is falling apart. Boiler was in the room and i had a nice water symphony all night The bathroom light had no cover. You could feel a smell of weed in the room

Bathrooms are dated and just not clean. No staff available. Pillow was clean but stained with blood. Shower door install backwards. Faucets not attached to sink. Shower controls loose.Mixing valve not working very dangerous. Open the shower door it turns the water off.

Tiny TV but no remote, so could not use. Shower took over 5 mins to get hot, but then had to hold it, as the wall holder was broken. Room was like a shoe box. No sound proofing, had some guy talking till pst midnight, and could hear every word (it was a very boring conversation). Found the electronic door entry system, hard to use.

Not up standards very dirty outside not best in windows dirty curtains hanging off they clean towels or toilet roll or been days we where I would never go they

The room was not cleaned. Dirty tea cup on table and stirrer on floor, dirty bedlinen.

if you like staying in places that have corridors stinking of cigarette smoke, paper thin walls, mould on the bathroom ceiling, unhoovered carpets, a kettle on the floor, noisy occupants at all hours, the most uncomfortable mattress that ever existed and being locked out because the door handle was broken, then this is the perfect place for you to stay. Oh and the emergency number? We left a message about being locked out at 12am last night, left at 9am, door handle was still broken, and no one has called to check why we called. Never again.

Fine for a very quick stopover but not very comfortable beds, no tv and not great condition

Bed is broken, nails out and hurt my wife. Mid-night was someone smoke weed, boiler keep dripping whole night. And the room is totally not match the pics on app, totally a SCAM. Not worth a penny.

I booked this property on Saturday looking to check in Saturday night. Due to an unmanned/ no front desk- they asked me to organise my checkin 24 hours my booking..... how can I do that when I booked it on the same day? Left me stranded in the cold and forced to book a much more expensive place. Do not book here as they'll take your money and provide terrible support- they haven't responded nor refunded my booking yet. Expedia were just as bad with the support. They just tried to not submit my feedback due to "profanity, personal information or specific rooms". Unsure where I mentioned any of that. An absolute joke.

Honestly the worst stay I've been to. Didn't even hoover the floor in the room. They locks on the doors didn't work as they didn't replace the batteries and this was the majority of rooms. They didn't pick up the phone for the contact number given or respond on the app. The shared toilets had no sink or spare toilet rolls and the walls had old dried urine splatters in it. The shower was broken and light switch string snapped so you couldnt turn it on. The actual shower had dirt and scum all over as well as damp on the ceiling. This however did have a sink but not soap or a hand towel. The furniture in the room was falling apart and it generally smelt of a combination of weed and stale cigarettes

Only issues I had were that the tv didn't work and the locks were a bit iffy. Everything else was alright.

I had a very good experience and I prefer to all to book a hotel room via Hotel.com website

On arrival i found it had no TV in the room, just a bracket on the wall. I could not shower as there was no hot water in the morning.

I was unable to access the room because, the key lock outside the room the hotel emailed me with the details for was empty! I was unable to contact either the property or Hotels com so was left stranded after 11pm at night and had to book another hotel.

I was unable to stay as there was no key in the lock outside the room... The code they emailed worked but it was an empty box! Had to seek another hotel in the area at short notice

There was no one at the property and I received no email on the code to get in. This is a scam and has been reported to the police. A red car outside has been photographed and is reported also. I was late for a family christening and monies are now owed to me for being taken in this scam. The accommodation that I had to take which the scammer needs to pay for has said that Peebles are known for this and it has happened this week to someone else. I need full reembursing this week

It was ideal for what I needed. I had one issue and it was resolved quickly.

The room was good and spacious and the security system is very excellent. The shower head was a bit too tall and the bed needs mattress protectors because of possible contamination from previous users. The mattress was too hard. The room was really clean and I loved the numerous plugs in the ensuite we used . The bed is too low. It is an affordable facility and for the price it was worth it. The facility is a bit noisy because it is near the road but overall it was ok. The overall cleanliness was awesome. Thank you for the kettle and tea. Thank you for having us.

Didn’t stay as it was unclean uncomfortable felt unsafe, wouldn’t recommend it to my dog
