Shangri La Yanuca Island Fiji

Its own private island and that its separate from the mainland and all the hustlers. Plenty of bars and realy friendly people on resort. Really really safe place for kids as well .

The staff are AMAZING. Fun, professional and always willing to help. The only thing we can fault was that if we wanted to snorkel we had to go to the opposite end of the resort to get the flippers. When you are staying at the Adult only wing that eats up your complimenty 1hr hire going backwards and forwards. Should be options up the REEF end. Apart from that we will be highly recommending Shangri la to gamily and friends.

I m not happy about my stay the room I book I didn’t got it an another room was given which smell very bad they didn’t allow my partner to be in hotel after 9pm .we got so frustrated so don’t kwn wat happened an they also took money from my card which I was not aware I saw in my app dan I inquired an thy said it will come back I came back to nz an call my bank thy said its was taken out an when I calling back dem to speak to the duty manager no response I was my money back stay was very bad very

Loved staying here. The room was great and spacious. The air con was amazing! Little dated in the bathroom but would not deter me in staying again. Staff were all very nice and friendly. Service was fantastic. Great breakfast and food at the restaurants. Cocktails where great as well. We went in the off season so could imagine peak would be hard to get a spot around the pool. Great value for your money. Would definitely stay here again

Great location

Great resort and staff. Everyone was warm and friendly and the grounds are well kept, even if the overall property is a little dated. Great for kids as well.

Bad false alarm 3am in the morning. Reception and Security guards were lost couldn’t explain what happened. So disappointing ruined my stay.

We had a great relaxing stay at the facility. There is only a couple of things I woud point out. As a new shanghai la member, i wasnt aware that i was entitled to discount at the restaurant. And even though I gave the front desk my number on the receipt system at the restaurant the discount didnt appear. I only became aware when i checked out. Also even though the restaurant were great the varity was minimal. The buffet had great variety however, for someone who isn't s big eater definitely not worth the price.

We really enjoyed our stay, lovely staff who went above and beyond for anything you asked. The property was stunning everywhere you looked, really well kept. I would say the rooms are a little dated, our room had a musty smell, but clean.

A nice relaxing atay definitely working on FIJI time. The hotel is tired and run down but still Provides a wonderful vacation if you are not expecting a 4-5 star facility. Staff are friendly and kind and enjoy working at the hotel which is nice to see. Healthier and more food options by the pool esp for kids is required. Overall a nice relaxing stay.

Stay in adults only - it’s the best !!

Fantastic stay in the Adults only Reef wing! Plenty of pool lounges, quiet and serene, right on the beautiful reef to snorkel. The fish & sea-life were amazing! I got permission to fly my drone and shot some great footage of sunrise and sunset over the reef. The Twin room was a great size for myself and friend. The ground floor room was perfect to stroll out to the pool and reef and still felt private. Beds were also great size - king single each plus a 3 seater lounge made the room feel very spacious and sun bed on patio outside. Gym facilities is great for basic needs, hand weights, good range of machines with a reef view. Beautiful spa treatment at Chi spa. Food was pretty reasonable cost at the Italian and beach bar restaurants. Food from the adults only area was on point! Breakfast buffet at the AO restaurant was excellent with a wide range of food and egg stations. Staff were AMZING! So lovely ☺️

Lovely location with lots of facilities. Staff are really making an effort

The staff are amazing and really do their best under the working conditions and environment surrounding them. The Leadership ( CEO and Executive Team) need to revisit budgeting and invest back into the Fiji Shangri-La resort. The photos are not a true reflection of what the resort looks like and need to overhaul the facilities. Power and generators should be at the top of the list as I did not come on holidays to have no electricity and not as a once off but ongoing.

Friendly and attentive staff, great for families and young children

For a 900fjd a night stay, the resort should have provided a variety of options for breakfast at least. The hotel surrounding wasn’t well kept. On new year’s night all they offered was a 198d buffet dinner, no fireworks or even a bonfire which wouldn’t have cost them anything! It was sad to see resort guests running out to catch fireworks from nearby villages. What a disappointment!
