Hôtel Le Vert Galant

A very basic hotel that meets the expectation. Pros: The bed was comfy, the room was cleaned once a day and the hotel is next to the station leading directly to the center of Paris. Cons: Everything is a bit old, the room and hallway had a faint smell of smoke and you can hear people in other rooms and the hallway. Overall: A good stay for the price and accessibility of the location.

Very pleasing

Very average. Unfortunately no air con during 31degrees. Breakfast was terrible. Staff were nice and friendly though and rooms are clean.

Hotel is a bit old but clean. Beds are new and very comfortable. Bathrooms old and need to be upgraded. Maybe also change to the new key card systems. Very old to use keys still. Maybe also invest in aircons to revamp the hotel a bit. Area is nice and very near to train station.

Perfectly adequate hotel for overnight stay before morning flight. Good supermarket across road. Pleasant staff, not all with great English. I did think we'd be closer to the airport as address is Villepinte, but hotel is right near Vert Gallant station which meant uber was much easier to airport (25 euros) than train, which would have meant back-tracking and changing trains.

I just needed a quick place to take a nap and this sufficed. Definitely no frills and the walls are very thin but with ear plus you'll be fine. Right next to it is a bakery and local supermarket which was very convenient to get some food. I would come back.

You get what you paid for basic but old, noisy and dirty

I tried many hotels in Paris, and each time they were awful (bed bugs, dirty, noisy...). This one is surprisingly great, very cheap, very clean. I will definitely go there from now on. If you do not mind being in the RER (train) for approximately 55 minutes to go to downtown Paris, then do not hesitate, I highly recommend. One good thing about the hotel: it is one minute away walking distance from the train station (RER), so no problem at night... Also, there is a very cheap bakery right there (and a supermarket), the cheapest in Paris (1 euro a croissant !). One negative thing. I am originally from France, so I am used to all kinds of people there. The day I left mid-december (I had a reservation before that one), the guy at the desk was very strange, he did not know how to open the door, I had to wait until he figured it out. He seemed a bit high, so I was not very pleased about that. I did not see him again, thank God. He kind of ruined my experience there.

Good place for a short stay

Quite amazing. The closeness to the Vert Galant train station is an advantage. The staff were cool.

Needed a hotel near airport with access to Paris for a few days train is very close

This is a ZERO frills hotel. It is inexpensive BUT the staff is exceptional. Very helpful and kind. They do care about serving you. 😊 Also very close to trains and bus lines.

Very nice staff working there, but the bathroom, the faucet's support was wroken

I chose this hotel as it was the least expensive that was closest to airport as I had to catch an early morning flight the next day. Manager was agreable and got a room for me well before check-in time.

The room was so hot with no fans or air conditioner that was impossible to sleep. Leaving the windows open just made it worse, no breeze and disgusting smells coming thru the window, the noise of the street made it impossible to sleep. We reserved for convenience (supposedly close to Airport but it was not that close. Neighborhood was scary also

We stayed in June and they don't have air-conditioning in Paris and June is hot. So it was hot and we had to keep the windows open at night. In France it is difficult to book one hotel room for 4 due to building codes. They had a room within a room and we paid $103. So it was a good deal. The neighborhood is so so. It is close to Charles De Gaulle Airport (20 minutes away).
