Cocoon Stachus

The fittings and amenities in the room are all high quality. Hansgrohe taps, Rituals… soap and so on. Certain things need to be requested like kettle and there isn’t enough table space, but for a 2 night stay where we were sightseeing for the most part of the day, it was a perfect little cosy abode. Inner streets are grungy, so I would advise walking toward Buddy Hotel toward Karlsplatz Stachus station to get around.

Our base for all attractions during our trip to Munich. Best location off the main road while still a few steps away from Munich central train station. Good vibe at the hotel starting from the very green lobby up to the room. Staff are friendly and they even recognized us throughout our stay. Large room enough to lay 2 luggages opened. Note that the bathroom is all see-through glass panels with one curtain blocking almost half of the room, a bit hectic for family stay. And the hammock chair hanging in the room doesn't practically work as the debris from the ceiling kept falling onto the seat. Everything else meets our expectation.

Very friendly receptionist. A woman who is very helpful in the simple and fast check-in process. At the counter are also available chocolates and delicious cookies at low prices. After riding in the elevator we were confused because the elevator door was open but there was an iron door that we had to push hard. Once it got out, there was another glass door before entering the hallway. The doors made it rather difficult for us to carry large suitcases. But finally we were entertained by the unique and spacious room interior. we booked 2 rooms, one room for our children, inside the room there is a room that can be used for eating, funny and unique, fun! one more room for us, husband and wife, our room has a swing, really happy. Pretty swinging swing after tired of coming from Switzerland, ohya, the location of the hotel is also close to the main station and surrounding downtown Munich. It was very memorable and recommend for those who want to visit Munich.
