What a great hotel and excellent staff. Hotel is a great location and the little square opposite sets the location apart.
We will definitely stay again and cannot fault the hotel and location. Plus the breakfast was superb with a tremendous variety.

We have stayed one night in different rooms with my friend.
Firstly, it was very difficult to adjust the temperature of the water for shower but it was only for my room.
Also, there is no free water in the room, when I told them, their answer was strange because they have free coffee and water at lobby but it is not logical to leave bed and go first floor when I need to drink something :) (water exist in fridge and not expensive but i didn’t like that there is no free water in the room)
Last thing, elevator has no safety check like laser control for the doors, if you are between it can be closed. It has to be fixed.
But breakfast was really good!

We had a wonderful time. The hotel is located to many transport links and walkable to the centre. Many restaurants around the hotel. It was my birthday and the staff were so friendly to organise something special for me. Made our stay special!

Great hotel for a short visit to Budapest. Slightly out of the main area but so walkable with so much around locally. Very comfortable stay with a good room. Staff very polite and friendly. Enjoyed the complimentary hot drinks that is available in the lobby. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent property. The hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location was top notch. The breakfast was good, but it was very busy so sometimes you were waiting a bit for the staff to refill something. We went during a peak travel weekend, so that's probably why. The staff worked very hard during that time. It's in a very walkable area and the Bolt drivers knew the hotel so it was easy for them to find it. They offer luggage storage if you arrive before you can check-in, and the front desk staff did their best to accommodate an early check-in when possible (we were able to get in about 2 hours earlier). Highly recommend!

We stayed for 4 nights. The staff were wonderful. Free tea and coffee in the lounge off the main reception is a lovely touch. Breakfast is plentiful and covered most things anyone could surely want or need. The building, although very historic is beautifully modernised to a high standard. The beds and bedding was so comfortable, the room was clean and well maintained. 4 star hotel which lived up to its star rating for sure and at a really good price. Easy 15 to 20 minute walk down to the riverside and central Budapest. Same to the Jewish quarter which is a must visit place for food and drink.

No proper bar facility, tired needs decorating. Repairs that have been carried out are poor. Decor does not appear to have changed in over 12 years. No usb sockets etc.

Fabulous location in a quiet district of Budapest. The old Palace exterior houses a modern hotel in a pretty square. Our room was modern style with large comfortable bed and great large bathroom with good shower.
The hotel was very clean and the staff very welcoming, friendly and super helpful with tourist queries. The location is just south of the jewish quarter with buses and trams within a few minutes walk to the attractions of Budapest. Fabulous value great stay all round. Thank you.

Situated in a good location, quiet, safe, very near to all transport hubs, trams, busses, metro and one of the three airport bus stops.
Front of house staff are really friendly, smart, efficient and helpful, in my opinion, the hotels main assets.
Enjoyed our stay and have rebooked to go again.
