Very professional and comfortable to be around staff. They even changed our room on the first day of our stay when we did not fancy the first room - these things are why we prefer this hotel above others.

The room was lovely, I got the kind with a bathtub and really enjoyed that. The food was good, room service, breakfast, all of it.
Two negatives: Mosquitos kept getting in, including the room, chewed me up because I never could get the last one. There was also no heat, and the room was pretty cold, and the staff couldn't bring me a space heater. I was a bit too cold the whole time.
5 stars if it were summer, and with better mosquito luck.

The staff were prompt and helpful, as was the checkin and checkout experience. The food in the restaurant is good. The property though really needs a renovation. The carpets in the hallway were dirty. The bathroom floor felt like it was not maintained very well. And the hotel floors near the restaurant were a little sticky.

The hotel cancelled our booking before we even arrived! We tried checking in at the time we had informed them - 11.00 p.m. - but they said we should have checked in before 6.00 p.m. How could we do that when our flight hadn't even arrived in Calcutta! WARNING - do not use this hotel - they may randomly cancel your booking.

Awkward design and layout. The idea of having a wardrobe stuck within the washroom seemed strange.
The staff were very helpful but the room was not ready for us when we arrived. But the layout is what was the most unattractive.

The Hotel violated privacy policy by letting outsider enter guest room and steal passport and valuable items. This is supposed to be prohibited. I will write against this hotel in Google review for violating guest privacy

Two of us booked a room and they provided us with a single towel and no hand towels. There wasn’t even soap/body wash in the bathroom. The bathroom was dirty. The breakfast buffet was subpar. One of the most disappointing hotel experiences I have ever had.
