This is a beautiful property with amazing service!

Excellent hotel and staff throughout. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice and quality food. My stay was only let down by no pool or spa facilities on site due to works so had to go to neighbouring hotel which was hassle and ruined experience.

The hotel was perfectly located for my business meetings and the entire staff was friendly and helpful and went out their way to make me feel comfortable and welcome.

Everything good except I’m not sure if the tap water is clean for brushing my teeth.

I reached a bit early but was only given a room when I had to pay extra for a Horizon Package. The room I was given originally had a leaking toilet so I had to change soon after. For the Horizon lounge, when the staff knew I had kids with me, and I had paid extra for the package, the staff in the lounge told us it was a business lounge and asked us to keep our kids quiet which was frustrating. The policy didn't seem consistent when they insisted I had bought the Horizon package knowing full well I had kids with me. Quite a few of the staff at the hotel were quite rude, though some very helpful and even after checking out and leaving the hotel, some of the staff continue to hassle me even though I have given them feedback on the negative experiences during my stay.

Very high-level hotel, large rooms in excellent condition. All is clean and bright. Great breakfast with many choices and options, great location close to the Connaught place

This is a great hotel in the center if Delhi. The staff are courteous and professional. Easy walk to street market, near Connaught Place, about a 30-40 minute drive to DEL Indira Ghandi International Airport.

Hotel pool was not available and it was not mentioned anywhere at the time of booking that it is inaccessible.

This stay was the last night of our trip and the hotel was amazing! The staff was very attentive and courteous!

The stay at shangrila was great, service, cleanliness, everything was good. But I have been to 5 star properties before, lets take example of oberoi’s their breakfast is topnotch but you people can work more on the food served during breakfast. Otherwise all great

Property had the pool and spa closed. The only bar in the property was closed due to private party. The food was out at the HH that we paid for.

Excellent service. Phenomenal breakfast options. Great location. Definitely take advantage of an upgrade and access to the Horizon lounge.

Excellent stay! The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean and the beds were so comfortable. The on site restaurants have everything you could want and the hotel staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Sadly the pool and outdoor area was closed for renovations but the rest of the hotel was great! A little oasis of calm inside New Delhi

Not happy that the pool & spa was under renovation. That's the whole reason I booked this hotel. Other then that the hotel is nice.

Unhelpful management over everything they always say no to most of things this was my second stay but now i know iwll never come back. Much better properties near by. Resturant staff was very nice.

I stayed at Shangri-La New Delhi from 5–8 February 2025, and what happened after my stay has completely shattered my trust in this hotel. It's a shame as my stay was otherwise good... Shortly after checking out, my corporate credit card was blocked due to fraudulent transactions totalling thousands of pounds made to overseas companies. When I contacted my bank, they informed me that my card had been compromised due to suspicious activity, leaving me unable to use it for the rest of my trip. The only time my card was physically handled during my stay was at check-in, when a receptionist escorted me to my room. She attempted to take a deposit but claimed the machine wasn’t working, so she manually entered my long card number into the system. At the time, I thought nothing of it—hotels often take deposits, and after a long journey, I trusted the process. However, the only plausible explanation is that the receptionist memorized my CVC and expiry date and sold my details online. This is beyond unacceptable. Not only was my trip disrupted due to a compromised card, but it has also raised serious concerns about Shangri-La’s security protocols and staff integrity. A five-star hotel of this caliber should have robust measures in place to prevent this kind of fraud. Instead, I was left dealing with the stress and inconvenience of a financial breach while traveling internationally. I have made the hotel and head office aware of this and urge travellers to be aware of this scam!
