Shangri La Jakarta

Staff is okay, service is okay, food is adequate, pool is okay, rooms are comfortable.

our stay was wonderful. staff was very friendly, the room was clean and spacious, amazing breakfast and we had so much fun at the pool. probably need more playground area for kids/kids club, so that fun activities not just at the pool.

it was amazing, my kids enjoyed the holiday.

Jennifer was especially helpful with a booking issue on check-in. I was disappointed with the driver to the airport who took a wrong turn into a traffic jam against my specific instructions and nearly made me miss my flight in the Jakarta traffic.

Really had a great time, surely will come back soon to have another proper family staycation.

It was a long weekend season, the check-in counter available was around 5 but they only opened 2. When the queue starts pretty long, then they start opening another 2. The breakfast I remember here was good, but today it was not. Since it is a long weekend, the services were a little bit chaotic. My last hope is the check out experience. Hopefully it won't be chaotic as well.

Will come back to stay here again, it's clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly, the swimming pool is really nice, suitable for bringing children.

Stayed one night here with my family for a short getaway. Everything was perfect; the room was spacious, and the kids loved the swimming pool. Breakfast at Satoo was great.

Every time I staycation in Jakarta, I always choose this hotel even though the food is quite expensive, but the taste is okay, it is very kids friendly.

When I am trying to find which hotel that has a tennis court to celebrate my wedding anniversary, Shang-ri La become one of the option. When I am inquiring about the hotel, it became my firm choice due to the friendliness of the staff from reservation team and health center team, they were so nice and friendly although I haven't even booked my room yet. Our check in process is amazing, my request for anniversary decoration is delivered exceeding my expectations, the guest relation supported me in placing my card in the room prior to our arrival in the room. The facilities is amazing, there are 3 tennis court freely accessed by all guest as long as you have already booked it. I stayed in the Horizon Club room which gives us access to the Horizon Lounge and it is very amazing. Whole day access to free non alcoholic drinks, free snacks within their schedule and free alcoholic drinks at night. Definitely recommend this hotel, I might even stay again here in the future and due to the experience here, I am definitely will try to stay in other Shang-ri La in the world.

Shangrila provides additional services that I did not find in other hotels, even 5-star hotels, for kids and babies. A must-visit hotel for families.

The staff are mostly friendly, although some seem a bit stiff, most are very helpful, easy to ask and respond in a friendly manner, thank you.

The staff at Horizon Club Lounge all provide excellent service.

The hotel staff is friendly, but unfortunately for a 5-star hotel there is no welcome drink, it is not shown or delivered to the room. When unloading goods from the car, there is also no staff to help, maybe because it is at the same time as another car in front, so we unloaded the goods ourselves with 2 small children who need to be looked after. But otherwise the other staff are friendly.
