The welcome from all the staff was first rate in gact all the staff were amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect to explore the city. Hotel is a little dated and needs a refresh but its in an old building. Breakfast was a little disappointing. That said I would stay there again

Lovely,lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Reception staff were so welcoming and helpful.The lady in the breakfast room remembered our coffee preferences without us having to ask.
Room was teeny tiny but was adequate for our short stay.Room didn't have aircon which meant window open to the noise of the street.
The location was absolutely perfect,so close to the Arena and all the sights we wanted to visit. Also the buses were in the Piazza Bra, too.

There was so much i liked about this place. To begin, it's not an antiseptic modern hotel, thank goodness. Everything, from the furnishings, to exposed wood trim, to slightly askew stair runner, it oozed charm. It matched the surroundings of historic Verona. Great location, 15 minute walk to train station, 2 minutes to the piazza where there are buses, including to Garda. Laundry was done for a reasonable price. Breakfast had plenty of options, and was set in a magical room. Staff were great. Travelling solo, I was grateful for Katerina's efforts at chatting to this linguistically challenged Canadian.
