Mercure Genova San Biagio

A decent hotel tucked out the way. I did walk around the local area and it’s nothing to shout about, it’s not an inviting area by any means. The hotel was clean and tidy the breakfast was very substantial with plenty of choices.

This property was clean and modern but the air conditioning did not work and it was far from most of the sites to see.

The location of the hotel made me feel a bit unsafe. But the hotel staff was nice and the service provided together with the room expectations were more than what we needed. We ate diner at the hotel to avoid going out, there were plenty of parking, and the breakfast buffet had many options.

Decent size room , helpful staff very friendly ,very good wifi throughout ,ample parking, good selection for breakfast great starting point to explore Genova and Portofina, close to stores and shopping mall

Parking is excellent. Outside looks like it needs a good tidy up, many weeds. Inside excellent, staff lovely. Breakfast was great. Our room aircon didn’t work and they changed our room with no problems at all 👍

Comfortable hotel in a quiet, open, green area. Excellent large free car parking. Very pleasant dining room overlooking the terrace and hills beyond. Breakfasts were good (help yourself hot and cold buffet). Dinners were excellent with a limited but interesting menu of mainly Italian and local dishes - portions were large. Service in the dining room was excellent. There's no lunch option at the hotel so we used the Centro Commerciale just a block away.

The greeting and staff were great, we were tired and the young lady made sure I had a bathtub to soak in after shopping all day. Interesting location and odd to approach and depart from but I guess that’s geographic. Nice breakfast and clean room. Perfect for a quickie layover.

The staff were super nice and friendly. The hotel itself cannot be faulted, all the required facilities were available. A pool would have been nice to have.

Friendly staff. Nice bathroom and loved bidet. Quiet rooms, adequately spacious with storage and fridge. Higher price than Milan for same amenities, and not as new, but beautiful lobby and facility. Room amenities great. Difficult to drive into Genoa and get back out of town —but in Italy that seems to be common. Good location otherwise to drive to. Comfortable. Would recommend if you are driving to it. We stayed and then made a day trip to La Spezia and Cinque Terre, about 90 minutes away.

Welcome very good and friendly. Service restaurant not okay. Not enough attention was paid to guests. Breakfast to be served at buffet took 30 minutes. Of course due to covid, but half an hour is too long.

Very friendly staff, amazing pasta with pesto at the restaurant and comfortable bed.

Simple and functional hotel. access outside the agglomeration easily accessible motorway. Free private parking. Despite covid hearty breakfast and flawless service
