State at this property for four days in May, excellent property very clean very safe. The room was a little small for the suitcases travelling from across the pond. Great location with excellent service air-conditioning worked very well. Elevator to allow us to bring our heavy suitcases up to the third floor and I would highly recommend anyone looking to visit Rome that wants a convenient location near the Spanish steps where there’s lots of shopping, eating options and perfect for just scrolling and getting lost in Rome. It’s a two minute walk to the Spanish steps. I highly recommend this location. It is definitely a more costly option but you kind of pay for what you get in downtown Rome meaning it was worth the expense for the location. I also paid for the breakfast option and that was OK not perfect but a good option to just a typical Cornetti that they serve.

Nice little old school hotel. Staff was great, very small lobby, but you only use that during check in and out. Rooms were very nice. I believe there was a recent reno, and it shows. Not a stroller friendly hotel. Old fashioned very small elevator, loved it, but can't fit a stroller. We were carrying it up and down flights of stairs. It was fine but just be aware. I would recommend this place. If you are a walker, which we are, you will be able to walk to all the important places to see.

This is a newly renovated property with luxury finishes, adorable period elevator. Daily room service and a nice restaurant for breakfast. 5 minute walk to subway and taxi stand. The central location makes walking to all major tourist sites possible within 5 to 40 minutes. We walked everywhere though you need to do some hills/steps. Great place. Highly recommend

Our room and bath was quite small. We packed light (2 carry on bags) and still struggled with making room to move around and have our luggage. That we could manage to deal with, what was unacceptable was being woken up approx 6:30am to construction workers drilling and hammering right near our room. The hotel had scaffolding all on the outside of it. We were on the 1st floor and it was hard to tell where it was coming from. We think it was either in the lobby or outside of the lobby area.
We were traveling home 11+ hour journey and this made for a more exhausting day missing out on a couple hours of sleep.
There is no good reason for construction to start at 6:30am anywhere let alone at a hotel. I messaged the hotel to let them know how rude and disrespectful this was to their guests and they denied construction was taking place.
This is why I am giving this rating. I would rather the management own it and apologize, but to deny it was a poor way to handle the complaint.

This was a lovely stay. Though the room was modern, the building had European charm. The temperature was adjustable and super comfortable during our heatwave stay. The housekeeping staff came 1x daily and kept the room stocked, tidy, and clean. Outstanding hotel staff overall. Helped us line up taxis, gave recommendations, and were attentive to my food allergies at breakfast. The only downside to the property at all was that the noise from the bathroom carried. Even so, it wasn’t terrible.
