The cutest and most strategic hostel possible! It was my first time going solo travel to Japan, the hotel is very safe even though it was located really close to Akihabara station (around 3-min walk). Konbini (convenience stores) like Family Mart, Lawson, and 7-11 are all also within walking distance from the hostel. You don't need to bring towels, PJs, and toiletries since it's already provided by the hostel (like most of the accommodation in Japan do). The staffs are also helpful and accommodating, with quite fluent skills in English. Not to mention, the whole theme and PJs are all pink! Too cute to be true! 🌸🎀 There are also tons of culinary places that can be reached by foot from there — such as Yoshinoya, Coco Ichibanya, Gyukatsu Motomura, Roast Beef Ono, Unatoto, Cow Cow Kitchen, Nikoniko Mazemen, and many more. Thank you so much for the remarkable experience, Akihabara Bay Hotel! 🩷💝

It's a capsule hotel so all that applies. The staff could be friendlier and the common areas could be a whole lot cleaner. Reasonably safe but luggage is required to be in the lobby for security and in the morning there was no one in the lobby so does not seem so secure. That said, nothing was messed with. Shoes not allowed in the building, shower was fine, and capsules were surprisingly comfortable but only one USB port and not much for environmental controls, which can be expected for a capsule hotel!

I stayed three nights and I grew attached. The stafg was great, it's very clean and the procedures and ammenities make everything easy. The only downside is the bed is quite hard but for only three nights I didnt have a huge issue. The location really cannot be beat.

Located a short walk to the train station made this affordable, safe location very attractive. It has everything you need. The lockers are big enough to store carry on, coat and tote or backpacks with large suitcases stored in lobby storage. The savings is worth any hassle. If you plan to spend most of your time around the city, this is a perfect place to shower, sleep, check up emails and unwind.

I give it 4/5 overall for the following reasons. 1. The bidet in the toilet in the shower room is not working. 2.

This might be user error but I didn’t realize they would empty and re-do the linens and everything inside the capsules daily. I lost my deodorant first day since I put it in my bathroom mesh bag and it was swapped out during cleaning hours. Otherwise, efficient, quiet. Serves its purpose.

I have never stayed in a capsule hotel so I had no idea what to expect. Once I figured out the logistics, though, it was great! The capsule was clean and comfortable, but some areas of the building needed new carpet.

Very good value! Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, skincare, etc are all provided for :) Very accessible location (4 mins from Akihabara station). Smooth check in and checkout! Appreciate that it’s an all female capsule hotel.

I don't understand any of the negative reviews. I stayed here for about 8 nights. Capsule hotels aren't meant for people who pack heavy or or are looking for convenience. Alot of people conplain they make you keep your luggage upfront, well thats half the story, they give you a locker to put your suitcase in if you have multiple suitcases or your suitcase is gigantic thats on you. Also maybe i got lucky but everyone was super respectful and quiet when i stayed. Lastly, super easy place to stay for english speakers, check in and check out is on a machine that you can switch to your language. Cant wait to visit again 10/10 place.

Good example of a capsule hotel, simple, and easy access. One should be aware that there aren't sufficient space to open big luggage on the floor that you sleep on

Absolutely no ventilation in the capsules. They quickly became miserably hot and uncomfortable to sleep in. Location was great.

Everything was great. From check in, to having my own locker, new towels and Pjs every day and just necessary essentials. I was not comfortable with the bed. I stayed multiple nights with just a thin pad you’re lying on. Not comfortable at all. Besides that, I don’t have any other complaints. I enjoyed being walking distance to the metro. That’s imperative to have.

the location is suuuper easy to walk to from akihabara station, i feel cleanliness and noise mostly depend on the guests staying there. During my stay I had no issues with that though, I could tell that noise would travel pretty far in the sleeping space, but even with someone sleeping on the bed above mine, I wasn’t bothered at any point. Location-wise: worth it. But make sure you’re packing light, the lockers may fit a large backpack or normal size carry on, but the larger suitcases are stored in the lobby.

It was my first time in a capsule hotel, I liked it. Very clean and organized. I stayed only one night, the bed is hard so I don’t think a long trip would be good to stay there but for a few days it’s good.

So nice. They provided sleepwear, towels, and other amenities. You have to scan to enter past the lobby and on the bedroom floor. Large lockers and very clear explanations of the facilities and procedures. Shower area was very clean. After your shower youre supposed to wipe the stall down with one of the towels/bathmat they provide. Room was very bright with adjustable lights. Good height in the capsule.

Property was friendly and clean, the only downfall is that they had no fridge to keep food and we had to be out of the hotel between 10-4 every day

The cleanest and most spacious pod I have stayed in central Tokyo. Of course I’m rating this as a capsule hotel as it comes with most of the setbacks of a capsule (basically having to share everything lololol). Having said that, I think the only drawback was the space for luggage as the lockers were very narrow and even my wheelie duffle didn’t fit inside the locker. Everything was super clean and staff very friendly.
