Very good

Comfortable beds and excellent breakfast buffet. Only a few minutes walk from the station, easy access to the rest of the city and Shinkansen. This hotel is only let down by woefully insufficient laundry facilities for guests. There are just two washer/driers for the whole property, they are constantly in use, and after multiple attempts to use the facilities and being met with a queue of people, I set an alarm and went down before 5am and still had to sit there for hours waiting for the machines to become free. This is really important for guests traveling with children and needs reviewing by hotel management.

The staff are very accommodating, helpful and supportive and understanding especially with my family situation when my son is sick and I ask for early check out and refund for the remaining days that I can’t stay longer because we need to fly back home early due to my son is sick. Thank you for your understanding and support, we will definitely come back and stay to your hotel again. Thank you Erika one of the manager/supervisor at night and also for the manager at days Thank you very much I just forgot to get his name we’re rushing to get home that moment already. Again I appreciate your patience and help.

Friendly staff and nice rooms

Great place to stay in Kyoto.Few minute walk from the Kyoto station, so easy access to transport. Fantastic breakfast with many options both western and japanese. Clean and comfortable.

Close to everything

For the huge charge per night, which they apparently simply on the basis of proximity to the railway station, I would never stay at the hotel individuals on the front desk are okay but imagine 20 people rating and only two persons manning the front desk. You can keep ringing from your room for half an hour, but nobody will ever answer The front desk, telephone or the room service. Either room service. They claim exist, when I investigated, there are nothing to offer, and nobody ever answered when you called them. Yes the breakfast room are good, the breakfast itself is pretty good. For a Hotel this size, only two laundry machines are installed, and it was amusing and painful to see people coming there. Middle of the night and waiting for one of the machines available at this experience was horrible

Good place to stay

Great place close to train station. Staff was great and the accommodations were as expected.

Location great for the train station and access to local and surrounding sites. Hotel was great, rooms provided all the services with separate toilet making it super useful. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice from Japanese to European with breads and pastries. All round, great hotel and experience.

Great property

Staff were friendly Was talked into signing up for membership to get the discount for breakfast and was not honoured at the restaurant. Also, they charged us $40 to hold our luggages after our check out as our train was leaving late in the afternoon.
