Great place, onsen was wonderful and restaurant was very good. Staff was more than helpful and very nice.

Amazing place definitely coming back for another stay. Btw they offer to send a shuttle bus to pick you up from the station then they will drop you off at the station .

Beautiful ammeneties with fantastic staff members who were always so attentive and helpful, they really portrayed professionalism Only caveat of this location is that getting around hakone from this spot can be expensive by taxi or otherwise fairly time consuming as it is farther up the mountain That said they offer a great shuttle service we were very grateful for A very enjoyable stay!

The hotel itself is great. Really well designed rooms with thoughtful touches. The staff were attentive, friendly and accommodating. The shuttle bus was reliable which is helpful as you’re not within easy walking distance of nearby restaurants although there is an excellent sushi restaurant on the other side of the river I recommend walking to. What did impact my experience however was the terrible soundproofing of the rooms. I could hear the elevator noises, guests walking above me, other rooms pouring baths and very clearly the guests staying next door who decided to have a “loud party” until the early hours with screams throughout the afternoon and evening. You will be able to hear conversations and guests using their bathroom. It’s a huge shame as you check in to this hotel for peace and tranquility. I overheard other guests share the same remarks during breakfast. Unfortunately for the soundproofing I am unable to recommend it.

Spa hotel, amazing facilities, great rooms

Amazing hotel, roof top with food and drink, great restaurant in the lobby, and a great bakery as well, the only issue the bakery opens at 8:00 am, too late, Overall experience was amazing

Beautiful property & excellent beautifully appointed rooms, with private onsen experience. What I didn't like: Public Onsen was noisy and busy Breakfast price (4400/person) is very expensive ! Dinner reservation not that easy to get

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Transportation provided to train station. Onsen in room, comfortable beds, sparkling clean, modern, beautiful bar and restaurant.

If one doesn’t have a car it takes a taxi to get anywhere.

Nice new hotel …so close to all Hakone and lake Ashi have to offer.

The rooms were luxurious and very comfortable. The staff was superb and the onsens were extremely relaxing. Would absolutely stay here for our next time back in Hakone.

Just my personal preference, but i felt that the pillows were too soft

Fantastic staff. Free shuttle bus from/to Odawara station. Very organised. Stunning spacious room with wonderful amenities. River view and private onsen beautiful. Public footbath and onsen (swimwear required!). Great location for using Hakone Free pass - there is even a quiet, walkable 20 minute shortcut to Gora train, funicular/cable car station if you are fit enough for lots of steep steps and want a lovely leafy walk! Restaurant in the evening was great- a little suited to western tastes including vegan. There is also a convenience store opposite the driveway.

Everything was perfect even from the very moment we stepped on the property. They offered us coffee, lemonade, and sparkling wine, and snacks while we waited for our room room. We stepped outside to the foot spa and had a cocktail and after a short wait, we were escorted to our room, beautiful clean with an amazing view. All the amenities were spot on. I highly recommend this hotel.

An excellent stay at the Indigo Hakone Gora Hotel…everything was amazing from the friendly staff, food, accommodation and design of the property. A perfect Onsen for relaxing and surrounding areas to visit.

Rooms were great. Food wasn't as good but that's a personal preference.

The service at this property was excellent. All the staff were helpful and very service oriented! We had excellent experience for breakfast and dinner.

This property was absolutely gorgeous!!! A worth mention was the staff how incredibly friendly they are and how they will make your experience that much more better. The restaurant riverside kitchen was delicious and had many options, the only issue we had was they sold out of their higher tier steaks which goes to show how incredible it must be! (Get reservations early in the night, our reservation was at 1945). Last but certainly not least was the private onsen in our room, overlooking the river and the mountains was always great to spend time in after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!
