JR East Hotel Mets Premier Akihabara

The hotel had a fast check in process and really nice rooms. Located right around the corner from Akihabra Station its a nice and easy walk. Very convenient and quiet even with it being attached to the station would stay again.

Fantastic staff working in the lobby, they are very helpful and welcoming. Rooms were spacious and clean. You can't beat this locations for Akihabara

Quite small rooms, as expected in Tokyo but comfortable clean and a very convenient place to stay.

It is right on top of a station for multiple lines. Super easy to go to most of the major attractions and NRT. Also, there are a lot of restaurants and shops around. If one likes anime, this is one of the best options to stay.

Convenient location for accessing the JR lines. Not noticeable street noise. Comfortable rooms with good amenities. Staff were very helpful and polite. Would stay again next time we’re in Akiba.

Great area, stayed for 7days whilst in tokyo very convenient with small shop down stairs in hotel with train and railway within a few mins distance. Right in the radio distict.

The service and ease of access to akihabara

Convenient and accessible to many areas being only a few stations away from tokyo and ueno. easy to get snacks with many convenient stores just downstairs or a short walk away.

Very convenient location, just beside Akihabara JR station. Good breakfast spread. If you not keen to wake up early for breakfast, you have the option to utilise the breakfast coupon (certain amount worth) at Starbucks instead. Supply dyson hair dryer and dyson purifier. Good range of amenity and self pick up facial mask/skin care/bathsalt etc at the lobby. Definitely worth the money to stay here.

Very helpful when i needed guidance on where to go and how to do something! Ammenities are very nice as well as having a convenient store right under. Rooms are really clean, however the only downside is that the place is a tad bit pricey. But if you have the money, id suggest staying here!

Great property

This property is sitting on top of a conbini with an English self checkout and a few steps from the Akihabara train station. Recommend if your a first timer and interested in really digging into Akihabara.

A step away from Electric Town Gate South Exit of Akihabara Station. So close to a lot of places and eating establishments. Overall, really great experience.

Right at the exit of Akihabara station, this hotel was so conveniently located. It was close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. It's a simple hotel, but would definitely come here again to stay.

Good location right next to train station.

We chose METS Akihabara everytime when we go to Japan. The room is small but packed with smart organized space and functions to fit in my large luggages and shopping bags. As you step out of the hotel you'll meet the JR station rightaway. Free amenities and helpful staffs is my favourite part. We really like this place and always want to come back again.

The separated days of full room cleaning was tedious to follow

I recently went to Japan with my husband and this was our 2nd stay at this hotel. I want to note the things I enjoyed and the things I did not. Overall, it wasn't a bad stay but I do hope to see improvement if I do visit again. Enjoyed: 1) Next to the train 2) Laundry in hotel (although the machines need work since we kept adding time for the dryer just for our clothes to still be wet at the end) 3) Next to a family restaurant and convenience store 4) Amenities at the front desk was convenient (e.g. tooth brush, qtips, etc) Some Issues: 1) The cleanliness could have a bit of work. I usually check for bed bugs and when I checked this time around there were a lot of crumbs on the mattress and the bed sheet itself was a bit dirty. 2) Comfort - The bed was a bit stiff and the choice of pillows was bad. For some reason we were given one firm pillow and one floppy cheap one. So one of us had to choose who got the firm one and who got the cheap one.
