KOKO HOTEL Osaka Shinsekai

The hotel is next to several attractions such as the zoo, the casino and with a little bit of walking, the Abeno Harukas tower. For two people, the room is small and the breakfast has a much smaller offering than their Tokyo Branch.

Good location and friendly staff but rooms were super cramped and not cleaned daily. Staff do offer a towel changeover service.

Staff are very pleasant, place is clean. Comfortable bed. Close to Osaka Castle l, Donki, restos etc. Will definitely stay here again.

Nice stay. Very conveniently located for food. Literally right outside the door. Room was clean and bed was pretty comfortable. WiFi was excellent. Staff super friendly. Had breakfast option but we didn’t not get it.

Great hotel located close to different tourist attractions and close to the train stations. Walking distance to Donki and pachinko. Hotel staff is very accommodating and friendly.

Convenient and walkable distance to the Zoo and Tsutenkaku. Hotel is clean and staff is helpful.

The hotel has standard amenities, however my highlight here was the staff was so understanding and kind. They were willing to listen and help when you needed the most. I highly recommend this place due to its location close to the station

Amazing!

This was the third location I stayed at out of 4 during my 16 day trip to Japan and I absolutely have no complaints. Hotel rooms are mostly going to be small so I've already accepted that. The staff greeted us every time we entered and left the hotel. The breakfast that was included was the best hotel breakfast we had during our whole trip. There are a total of 2 washers and dryers right next to the elevators in the lobby. The lobby also provides you with all the hotel amenities you might want or need to bring up to your hotel room such as tooth brushes and creams etc... The staff does not make/clean your room every night but does provide a dirty towel bag for you to leave out and they'll swap towels for you everyday, you can also leave your trash bins next to the door if they're full and they'll take care of it. If you stay longer than 3 days then they'll make/clean your room on the third day. The hotel was conveniently about a 5 minute walk from the station, there is a book store on the left side of the road from the station that does have R rated mags out in the open for any parents worried about that, so I'd recommend crossing the street as soon as you get out of the station if you want to avoid. But overall, if I had to nitpick, it would be the noise. Personally, it didn't bother me. You are choosing to stay right next to Shinsekai and it gets lively at night. There is a lot of food and izakayas there so you might as well join in on the fun!

Room is small but compact and clean. Excellent breakfast with good varieties. Close to shopping street and train station.

Comfortable & clean double bed room. Train stations though not very near, are still in walkable distance. Quite some shops & eateries down on the street.

Really good location. The room was very dusty even after being cleaned we had lots of dust. Breakfast lady was really friendly. Reception barely speaks any english and theyre not as friendly.

I liked this hotel. But I was shocked that when I misplaced my hotel key card, I was charged 3000 yen for a replacement. Everyone was friendly and nice though and were keen to help with what I needed
