Self check in was very easy, and they gladly held our bags because we were early. Room was a little tight/small, but it was clean. We got a smoking room for some reason, so there was a noticeable (but not too heavy) smell of smoke. They provided a room and clothing spray, which was very thoughtful and we used it often. It's located very close to the train station so it was easy to get around. The free breakfast had a great spread of Japanese foods and some Western foods.

The location is perfect! Room size is good. Breakfast is amazing! I stayed for 3 nights and eberyday was different. They also prepare for guests to have brekky takeaway, very caring.

It is a short walk from JR station. Room is a bit bigger than i expected. Daily free breakfast is nicely prepared and tasty. Will come back if i revisit Sapporo.

the hotel was very nice and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. it was nice to have a laundry room. The breakfast was okay. The only issue we had was the bed was very hard, it was like sleeping on the floor.

Very small rooms. The room I was given had a window looking straight at a wall meaning the room was pitch black in the day. Lifts were dreadful - couldn’t baby the number of guests wanting to use them in the morning/evening. The pleasant staff is all this hotel has going for it

The hotel staff speak very limited English. Check in is 4pm, not a minute earlier, unless you pay 1000yen per hour. The wall is paper thin, the air conditioning is hot and super dry. The breakfast however is the only highlight, they didn’t go for the continental crap, instead was some Asian style food. By the way if you didn’t exit from Sapporo station North exit, like me for the first time, you will end up walking Half an hour to find it. The hotel could specify more clearly.

My room reminded me of an inside cabin of a cruise ship. Dark and claustrophobic due to the adjacent building. The carpet felt grubby under foot. Kept slippers on at all times. Mattress made me itch so I had to sleep on the duvet.The walls paper thin so could hear next door and the rattle of plumbing.But the shower was powerful and the breakfast amazing. Would I repeat visit. Yes. Great location for the station and the breakfast so good.

Toyoko inn was perfect for our stop in Sapporo. We walked with luggage to from the train station, staff were helpful and stored our luggage until check in. And the hot breakfast was welcome the next morning. Room was clean and exactly what was needed after travelling.
