Grand Palladium Vallarta Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Paid for Deluxe panorama ocean view- the room did not have a panoramic ocean view - room 1228 does not have a panoramic ocean view. Air conditioner in room was so loud could not sleep with it on Pool was dirty and closed for 1/2 of sunday 4/20 was very cloudy and dirty the day before. “ocean salt pool” did not exist Buffet was so busy for 3 or 4 days a line went down to bottom of stairs All of the restaurants were so busy we could only find reservations for 5 or 530pm. Bathroom didn't flush properly and flush button came off the wall.

I have never written a review on anything until now. The hotel does feel and look old, it could use some updating. I was unable to check in early and was finally able to get into my room around 3:30pm. The bathroom lighting was very dim

The food terrible ( im was sick from 3 days diarrhea omg.talk same more people aruond 15 more the was diarrhea ( not recommended)

Even it is all inclusive the food was good. Didn't like the reservation process for the restaurant as the app didn't work and coudnt eat were we wanted

Everyone was so friendly. The resort felt large enough you weren’t on top of each other but small enough things were close. Lots of food options for our picky child. The only thing I would look at fixing was the LOUD sound during the performances. We only went to one because the mic and speakers were so loud it hurt our ears too much. The kids went to the kids club and had a blast. It was super well organized. The pools were huge, but big enough. Loved that the kids pool area was slightly cooler so you could wade your legs in and not get fully wet. It would have been nice to grab snack options on off hours from the buffet or restaurants but on the second day we just grabbed some snacks from the buffet to eat at the pool.

It was very nice vacation. Clean room. I was pleasantly impressed with food choices nice beach area, you can swim in the ocean, if waves are not aggressive, lots of surfers. However, not enough chairs on the beach. Cecilia, the concierge is very helpful and responsive on WhatsApp. Our safe didn’t work. It was fixed right away. Ricardo at the breakfast buffet, the server, was exceptional, no need to wait for coffee. It was crowded, it’s recommended to go to buffet early if you don’t want to wait in line to be seated, or have easy access to food choices. The property has beautiful jungle setting and beach cliffs. It was a perfect choice for our short vacation.

Booked my trip and then when I got there, they told me the only way to go to some of the restaurants was to purchase the higher package and then they didn’t get our reservations done but allowed us to go to the restaurants as long as we were gonna buy champagne or lobster even though the tables weren’t full. Complete scam and then had people try to corner you with a timeshare type program offering 300.00 towards towards hotel services however I booked massages and got the price and then as soon as I told him I was using my bucks they raise the price so you’re just paying for it anyway ridiculousness

Very nice resort and highly recommend. It is a bit further from the Airport though.

We enjoyed our stay at the resort. Be prepared for a workout. Built into the side of a cliff, it is not flat and there are no elevators. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good, especially at Portofino and Internatuonal. Reservatuins were difficult to get with our group of 10 which was disappointing. Even if we could get a reservation for the entire group, we were unable to sit together which was even more disappointing. Portofino made an exception for our "after wedding dinner." We were able to push two tables together for eating at the buffet. The wedding was beautifully planned and executed. Again because we were a small group, my daughter and future son-in- law were unable to use their balcony of choice but, it was still very nice. The other thing was transportation. It was not provided from/to the airport since we booked through Expedia rather than the resort travel club. Not a big deal but taxis were pretty pricey...$80US for my husband and I which we expected. My other daughter and her spouse did book through the resort but were not told of the resort transportation service until their departure. They paid $145US for their taxi to the resort. Live and learn. Still it was an enjoyable week.

Beautiful resort friendly staff.

The hotel is great. The room was clean and comfortable, the food was very good, a lot of variety, and the special restaurants were great. The adult pool is a little warmer, which was great, even when the weather was very hot. The beach right in front of the hotel was very nice. The service and staff were friendly and kind. I super recommend staying at the hotel.

The staff are amazing. However the food quality has declined since our last trip a couple of years ago to this resort. Love the location, disappointed with the food this time.

The staff were friendly and for the most part accommodating. The entertainment was limited and the food was at times excellent and at times terrible. It's funny, the service and quality of food at Portofino was terrible, while the service and quality of food at the International was excellent. Based on location, I assume the food is coming from the same kitchen. This is the second time we have stayed at the Grand Palladium Vallarta and I must say, nothing has changed.
