Hotel & Club Campestre Altos Paraiso

What a fun place to stay! There's plenty to do, or not, as you wish. The staff, Fabby and her assistant, Damian, where so helpful. They even made good suggestions for our on going trip. The food is really good as well.

A beautiful property with wonderful service. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable. Staff were accommodating, helpful and friendly. Pool is a great place to cool off and restaurant has nice options with local foods that were delicious. We were in the area for a family wedding and stayed for four days. We hope to return! Note: ability to speak Spanish is important to be able to converse with staff

We enjoyed everything. The only downside is no food or drink after 6 pm. There isn’t really anything else around.

The beach is not around the hotel, you have to drive like 15 minutes away.

Beautiful place for vacations.

This was a pretty cool place. The family who runs it is extremely nice and friendly. The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are nice and large as well. A few must knows: 1. The restaurant is almost never open and they DO NOT offer breakfast as described throughout their offering. They made it clear that the restaurant actually only opened around 12 noon everyday and closed at 4pm. They never opened on Monday . There is no food around so you will have to travel to eat or bring plenty of your own food. There were times when I was without food or the ability to find any around. 2. It is best to have a car as this place is far from anything. Playa Roca Blanca is about 15 minutes via Urvan and taxi. Puerto Escondido is about 35 mins. 3. There is no cell service and internet only works outside of the room. You have to leave your room to access wifi. 4. Bugs: natural part of where the place is located..however, there were several in the room that left me with bites throughout the night. It's part of it but it's a must know

It’s a gorgeous place. The AC didn’t cool the room well and the Internet didn’t work in our room. It worked near the pool though.

Beautiful property. Well maintained. Secure parking near room. Do NOT accept credit cards. The power went out the morning after our first night and was out the rest of the day and through the night so it was a very long, hot night with no air conditioning or fans. The property is about ½ hour from Puerto Escondido.

Muy buena limpieza, las instalaciones están en buenas condiciones y el hecho de tener protección en las albercas para el sol me encantó por que iba con niños pequeños, muy tranquilo y el personal amable. Lo único que no me gustó fue que teníamos un tour el día que entregamos la habitación a las 3 de la tarde, íbamos con 2 niños pequeños de 2 y 4 años y hacía demasiado calor, por lo que le pregunté a la chica en recepción si era posible estar un par de horas en la alberca después de entregar las llaves, le dije que les íbamos a consumir ya que mi familia y yo queríamos comer antes de irnos, a lo que me respondió que teníamos que pagar adicional por persona, me parece que $50 o $70 más el consumo y solo estaríamos 2 o 3 horas. La verdad me pareció excesivo, así que tuvimos que irnos y tener a mis hijos en el calor en uno de los restaurantes a lado de la carretera unas horas, entiendo que cobren el uso de sus instalaciones, pero éramos 4 adultos y 2 niños, pagar más de $300 más bebidas y alimentos si me pareció demasiado

Beautiful place ocean nearby mountains nearby excellent view of the pool but a ways out of town still thumbs up very clean

The staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. It’s a little compound in the middle of nowhere, but it was reasonably priced with great covered and secure parking. Grounds are well maintained and beautiful. The rooms are comfortable, and in keeping with the price. Would/will definitely stay again.

The property was great and staff very good. I didn't realize the location was isolated in the country when booking, so the lack of outside activities was limited. It did have access to shared taxi's so getting around wasn't a problem just nothing was in walking distance

Las intalaciones no están en condiciones optimas, hay una plaga de hormigas y en las habitaciones esta´n llenos de hormigas, muy deteriorado, en su momento fue un buen lugar hoy no esta en condiciones de publicitarte en Expedia

Esta muy retirada de todos los lugares turisticos y no se tienen servicios de transporte y lugares cercanos para consumir alimentos
