The location can’t be beat. Great food/dining options at walking distance. The Wellington cable car is right next door. Bus AX going to the Airport stops right across the street. The hotel room was nice and clean. Water pressure in the shower was excellent. Overall, no issues and they even gave me an extra hour to check out with the facility of storing my luggage. The front desk staff is professional and helpful.

We had just one night here. Strange set up. Enter from the street and catch the lift to reception on the 6th floor. Small parking area for reception at the back (which was not communicated on booking). Then had to move the car to other parking for overnight. Check in guy Billy was helpful but when we left neither of the female staff even spoke to us. Just smiles when we handed the key back. No “thanks for staying with us” etc. Good location to walk to local restaurants and the cable car. Room was big, bed was comfy.

The staff was excellent. The room was spotless and spacious. The only downside was that the main entryway was under renovation and whatever chemicals were being used were noxious.

Nicely renovated rooms. We had the 2 bedroom apartment for 5 of us with roll out bed was perfect. Right in the city walking distance to everywhere also grocery store next door. We will definitely return to Citylife Wellington.
