Best value for money in the area. The rooms are efficient, location is convenient, and cafe is solid. There is even an ironing room on the 7th floor, which I ended up using on my last evening. As a runner, I valued quick access to the fitness center at an affiliate hotel, running path along the water (Akershusstranda), and Smoothie Xchange in Byporten—all within 400 meters (.25M) of the Comfort Hotel Xpress Central Station. Staff were the best, knowledgeable about the area and personable. Matias provided recommendations that I hadn't previously found in my research, and Julia and Evelina seemed to learn my morning routine—down to the coffee.

Excellent place! Everyone was nice, love the little cafe/bar in the lobby, and the fact that there’s a kiosk to call a taxi which makes it super easy if needed.

It is right in the centre of the city but quiet. It is a budget hotel so bedroom furnishing is minimalist but it's clean and comfortable. A very nice reception area but, if you need a beer, it's a lot cheaper elsewhere!
