Alfama by Lisbon Inside Out

Brilliant apartment and location. Weather was unusually hot for time of year and the people of Lisbon were very helpful. Great museums especially the Tile Museum.

Very clean and modern. The bedroom can get very dark and the air conditioning makes the apartment very cool. Perfect to sleep

excellent location and well equipped, you must contact the accommodation before travel otherwise they'll be no one there to let you in, you need a combination for the keypad, the only way to contact the accommodation is via a Portuguese mobile phone number, which is only carried by one person so it might well take a few goes to get through, there's no other contact details on the booking confirmation.

Our stay was great. When we arrived in the area it looked really old but the apartment was fantastic. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable beds and pillows. It is lovely and quiet even. Very convenient to everything and Beatrix was a lovely host and very helpful with information of the area. Thank you we will definitely stay there again.

It was a perfect area to vacation near. Normally, I choose locations near the beach, but this was very good since it was in the prime shopping area. It also was easy to catch public transportation. The only thing I didn't like were all the staircases and rocks we had to go through to find it because the numbers were not in sync and neither was the gps. Cons- The cleaning service only came once, I'm spoiled to hotels cleaning the room everyday, so that bothered me a bit. I also hated the design of the shower, it didnt close, so lots of water leaked onto the floor. The bathroom also had a constant smell of mildew. Lastly, a man staying beneath us, constantly complained about our children running around. I thought since we were on the first floor, that wouldnt have been an issue. But, it reminded me of being home still and NOT like vacation at all. Lastly, the check in time is super late. I wish I'd known, it would've saved me alot of trouble. Pros: Excellent area, great management company, washer is perfect, updated everything.

The location was great, and we loved the espresso maker!

Missed front desk service and getting tips on were to go. No breakfast not not a big issue, but was enjoyed at all other places we stayed at.

We stayed at the Lisbon Inside Out apartments for 3 nights in the beginning of May 2019. The apartment is situated in the historic district of Lisbon with lots of things to do. We were within walking distance from a lot of Lisbon's historic landmarks and great restaurants. The apartment was pretty basic, but clean and modern. I would not rate it as a 4-star property though. The shower base had a few massive cracks in it and a moldy corner. The front door handle to the apartments was missing and looked like it was ripped out of its place at some point. We were never greeted by anyone in person and all of the communications were done via email, text, and telephone. To get into the apartments and the room, you have to use a code, which was provided to us by the management company via email. The code seems to be the same for all guests and doesn't get changed with every new booking. As a result, someone walked into our room on the morning of our check-out, before the actual check-out time. I am assuming it was the next guest who arrived to the city a bit early. The most annoying thing we had to experience during our stay though was the construction site next door. We would've appreciated being informed about it, prior to booking our room, just like a lot of hotels do when there is on-going construction practically in their backyard. The construction noise woke us up each morning at 8. All in all, it was an okay stay, but we will try staying elsewhere next time we are in Lisbon.

Loved the situation in Alfalma. The property was very well equipped and clean. It was a bit tricky to find on the first day, but we were guided there by our hosts using a map link. We were kindly received, communication was excellent and on our final day our checkout was well handled. Only slight negative was sound transference at night from adjacent property.

It's a lovely space, with gorgeous views (we were in the top unit), in a great location. No complaints at all personally. The building is a walk-up though - 4 units total, so if you have the top unit, be prepared for some stairs. Not an issue, unless you have large suitcases as my travel buddy did

We had a very warm welcome from the staff and luckily we arrived earlier then our estimate check in, still being made to have the room. Thanks for the kindness. This apartment is No.3 located at 2nd floor, it was actually really nice with a couple of windows, one toward the cruise port, two toward the alfama city and you can view porta do sol from the bedroom. The only concern is that the bathroom had drain problem so we could not shower for long. Anything else was perfect, very local to lots of fado restaurants and just a few minutes walk to carris stop.

Great little apartment with a great location. The apartment had all kitchen appliances and included a washing machine. Nice style and the place was super clean. It is about 10 minute walk plaza de comercio. This is a great area to walk and shop and eat and watch people.

Beautiful view over the rooftops of Alfama. Get a bottle of wine and watch the sunset. Well appointed kitchen, but tons of restaurants within steps...

Here's a tip. If you do not have heavy luggage, and you want to have a great experience in the most authentic part of Lisbon (Alfama), try this place. Its closeness to the water, the Santa Apolonia metro station, and the major square… you can’t beat it for rice and position. Also, it is part of some serious Fado action and culinary delights… right on the doorstep!!!

We stayed for 3 nights at Alfama by Lisbon Inside Out. The apartment is right in the middle of Alfama restaurant and fado scene although the bedroom is quite well insulated and quite. The apartment is modern, with everything you need for a short stay. Only a few blocks from St Apolonia station and metro. Easily walkable to all major sites in Lisbon.

Everything was absolutely perfect- from the modern, chic decor to the warm, helpful service from manager, Elisa. We will absoutely recommend your apartments to family and those travelling to Lisbon We also appreciate the amenities provided (cleaning supplies, map, recommendation for food, etc). Thank you!

Was spectical about apartment vs hotel but this place is great. Perfect location at the right price. Fully appointed kitchen was nice too.

Die Vermieter waren sehr freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Lage der Unterkunft, mitten im Altstadtviertel Alfama ist optimal. Bei geöffneten Fenstern gibt es allerdings keine Privatsphäre, da alle Passanten direkt in das Erdgeschoßapartment sehen können.

lage und ausstattung sind sehr gut. das appartement hat eine angenehme größe und gute ausstattung. ist charmant eingerichtet. die sauberkeit wäre noch optimierbar.
