As two guys visiting sharing a room we had requested a twin room but when arrived we were booked into a king size double. This was unacceptable and we were given a room with bed sofa and double bed instead. Also glass door on the toilet was not acceptable. Careful request is required if a twin room is booked. They consider this to be a king size double.

The hotel is very walkable to Regua which made eating at the local restaurants and participating in wine tours easy. The hotel has incredible views.
There was limited warm water and our first floor rooms had a faint odour. The bed mattresses could be better.

The carpet was musty and in Sun evening we saw 3 couples who were also guests turned away for dinner " bc no reservations" but it was not full or over booked. Front desk recommended a terrible boat ride to another town and we saw several nicer boats docked when we boarded ours.
