BEST WESTERN Hotel Vista

Great overall property, location is a bit secluded but very close to bus and tram lines less than a 3 minute walk. Staff is exceptional very friendly and helpful, Breakfast is excellent, there is nothing negative to say about this property.

not great not horrible, average. carpet, bathroom dated, pictures on website make rooms look larger than they are (the one I stayed in was tiny). rooms have all the essentials incl. coffee tea... The biggest problem is lack of soundproofing - walking through corridors you can hear conversations. Staff helpful, polite. breakfast pretty good, they need to learn how to prepare bacon and chat among the staff was louder that conversation among guests.

A slightly older hotel, so the rooms are rather averagely equipped. The location is in good proximity to the Ostravar Arena. Pleasant service, sufficient breakfast. A little worse sealing of the door, so you can hear the noise from the corridor to the room. Good price/performance ratio

Hotel staff was great, but the rooms could be cleaner, visible stains on the furniture within the hotel room. Also found items within the room which were left by the previous customer. Didn't have time to try the breakfast- no comment. Single bed rooms are very small with an awkward layout, recommend to upgrade to the comfort room.

Hotel is over rated , smells bad from cleaning adjacents .

Really friendly staff. Nice clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Only complaint was room was too warm but opening a window fixed that.

Hotel is a little old fashioned style but very clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. The only problems are with the dining. The times they are open are not what is posted in the room. They seem to open and close when they feel like it rather than the posted times so just be aware. When they are open, the food is great!

We came to Ostrava for the 2020 World Junior Hockey Championship and the location of this hotel was perfect for that. However, it’s not close to a lot of our tourist or business sites. But area was safe, rooms were good and staff was really helpful.

Large and clean rooms, big gym (only 1 of each cardio machine, so may have to wait a bit), big, delicious breakfast with many great selections. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Good location, close to bus and tram stops.

We booked this hotel because Ostrava was hosting the World junior hockey championship. Ostrava has a great transport system, the hotel concierge was very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel’s kitchen, restaurant and bars close far too early, Ostrava doesn’t have any food available after 10. It was a disappointment that room service closed too early. One of the nights we were there the hotel’s staff was short some kitchen staff and couldn’t provide any room service. Had I known I would have eaten earlier as would my diabetic husband.

We were very impress by the breakfast. Room was clean. Service great. Closeness to where we needed to be. Just no complains.

I was here during the hottest part of the summer when the music festival was happening. The room was nice and simple and supplied fan was necessary as there was no ac in the room. Windows open completely helped to cool the room but with them open there was some noise from outside. The area is generally quiet and building has simple but nIce interiors, seems to be a converted housing block that is now a hotel. The included breakfast was good, with a nice variety of option , and the staff were friendly and helpful.it also has onsite parking but I didn't use this.

Good hotel with good food but a little far from town. A tram is about 200 mts away and brings you into the town center

- Room is Quite tiny, but comfortable. Washroom is modern and clean. However, our pillow/bed had pieces of short black hair from previous guest. Makes me question whether or not the pillow cases/sheets were changed. Phone was not always working during our stay. The door knob is so close to the edge/frame it is so dangerous. We scraped our hand closing the door quite a few times. Mini bar is nicely stocked with few items to purchase. - Wi-Fi is excellent speed despite going down a couple of times, I am surprised at the connection. We were able to stream shows on our laptops in our room which was great considering there's nothing to watch on tv. - The assortment of food at the free breakfast buffet included in our stay was delicious. The restaurant in the hotel also has good food and a wide and excellent selection of booze. - Staffs at receptionist and bar was professional, respectful and friendly. However, hotel manager and breakfast staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and discriminating against minorities. We were crudely humiliated, rudely mistreated, chased down and falsely treated like criminals during our entire stay due to a petty incident turned into the most uncomfortable 10 days of our lives. I will not return and do not recommend staying here if you are not of Eastern European descent. Long story short, a complaint has been submitted.

Fantastic food in the restaurant and great bar

Stayed here on the way back to Prague. Great rate. Extremely clean rooms. Would stay at again!!
