The location is everything! Really nice kitchen. Good use of a small space. I wish I had brought my own toiletries. No conditioner provided. Body gel/shampoo had strong smell. Towels were rough, but did the bob. The shower half wall-helped create a daily flood. We couldn’t keep the spray contained.

We were happy with the property’s location, which was very convenient. However, for the nightly rate being charged, we expected more in terms of amenities. Instead of providing basic shampoo and conditioner, the room only had a 4-in-1 product for hand soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner. The AC unit in our room also didn’t work well, making it quite warm.

Apartment was clean enough. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Bed was convertible to a sofa, thus the mattress was unsatisfactory uncomfortable. Great location. Bottom line, I would stay there again and request a non-convertible mattress/bed.

It was a fine hotel. Nicely located. AC didn’t work very well. They do not offer cleaning service. You even have to take out your own garbage. Wouldn’t stay more than 1 or 2 nights.

We had a mini-kitchen which made things easier and less expensive. Room was a little hot at night. I couldn't figure out AC and did not approach the staff with any questions. The staff did respond quickly with two other requests: for a spatula and to fix a borken light

The location was great. Staff at reception were generally friendly and helpful.
Room was so small. The bed was a pull down sofa bed, so uncomfortable.
No room cleaning for 8 days. Bins were overflowing with rubbish. No fresh bed sheets or towels. Even the bin for the lemon water in the lobby was overflowing with rubbish, like there were no cleaners at the hotel.
We had a dishwasher but they gave us no capsules so we couldn’t use it.
Won’t be staying at an Adagio again.

Disappointed in provision of supplies (toilet paper,towels,drinking water etc. to be collected from front desk. Unusual set-up for us! Airconditioning during heat wave was non existent! Would not recommend this hotel. Spent 3 weeks travelling prior & this was the worst considering price!

I am seriously impressed with the technology and safety of this hotel. The exterior was in keeping with the historical buildings in the area, the conveniences and safety and eco- friendly smart tech are very impressive. I love the location, and was very impressed with the studio apartment. I found the best of both old Edinburgh and modern new Edinburgh. Close to tram line, Waverly Station and so much shopping from typical to avant garde. BEST STAY SO FAR!!

Location is ideal and central, close to the Edinburgh castle and holyrood palace.
Has a kitchenette with microwave and a decent size fridge, food is expensive in Edinburgh
No regular housekeeping, you have to drop off your trash yourself and the hotel charges an extra 20 pounds for cleaning if stay is less than 8 days. You have to pay extra for breakfast.
Parking is nearby for a charge and is expensive
Beds were ok, could have been more comfortable.
Overall stay was good, front staff was very helpful with requests and refills. Hotel was quiet and clean.
