Beds were very comfortable. Hotel was clean and quiet at night. Friendly staff.
The location is unbeatable, if you want to stay where all the action is. Every attraction is within walking distance, with a plethora of cafes, and restaurants right at your doorstep.

Great stay at this hotel. The location can’t be beat with the Edinburgh Castle right outside the windows in the front of the building, and the Grassmarket right outside. The hotel staff were lovely and answered all our questions. The room was comfortable and we very much appreciated the fan as there was no air conditioning (probably not normally needed but it was a very sunny day when we were there and the room got a bit toasty!)

I loved having a car park for my rental. Not many spaces so I was thankful I got one. I just parked my car the whole stay and then walked around.
My room was very hot on the 3rd floor. Thankful I brought a small portable fan to have near the window. My control buttons on the temp gauge were broken.
