The hotel is in a great location a few steps from the Royal Mile. It is undergoing some renovations and to get to our room was quite a trek and one of our party had mobility issues. Also, by mistake I left a dress and suit carrier in the wardrobe but upon asking if they could be returned the hotel said they couldn't find them. Very disappointed.

There was issue with the air conditioning in my room. I asked to be moved but a second maintenance tech came up and said it should cool off in an hr. The room was never really comfortable temperature wise. At this point only had 1 day left so just lived with it.

A good hotel but way too expensive in my opinion after all fees. Room is nice but super loud outside all night long and if you like your room pretty warm you can adjust the thetmastat which really frustrated me especially at $500 a night. Beyond all that it’s a good location and certainly not my worst experience but this should not have cost this much.

The menus for the restsurant and room service should be available in the rooms or online. Otherwise, very nice. Also, they should male it clear that on any given floor, there are steps, like 8 down and then 8 back up. One of us struggles with stairs.

The hotel itself was nice enough and the service was good. The issue we had was one that unfortunately cannot be corrected. It is for the reasons below we will not be staying there again: the lift was so small we had trouble Gerri g our luggage + toddler in a stroller into the car. Once we got to ou floor, we encountered two small flights of stairs on the way to our room. Again, with the toddler in a stroller and luggage from two weeks of travel, this was extremely inconvenient.
