Locations great, room is a little small

Staff at front desk very pleasant, helpfu and professional. Had room on 3 rd flr. Quiet and very clean. Hotel in most convenient area. Very walkable. Enjoyed.

Great hotel, the location is perfect for walking to the beautiful sights of Madrid. The staff were lovely and they were able to let us check in early. The room was well equipped with a lively big bed. The only downside was thw pillows weren't so comfortable, but the bed otself was great. The bathroom was a very good size with all the required amenities. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Madrid.

The location was great. Had to open the window to cool off the room. Then it became noisy at night.

Didn’t have accommodation for more than 2 people in the same room.

We think this hotel is overrated with a 4 stars, should be maximum 3 stars.

Clean, comfortable hotel with polite and professional staff

I was in tower B which was not over the street so was quiet. Excellent location to sights and metro. Good breakfast options.

Even though is not that close to Plaza Mayor, the hotel has a great location and is walking distance to main attractions in Madrid. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Would stay here again.

Dear Hotel Manager/ Hotels.com, I am writing to formally express my disappointment regarding the handling of the burst pipe incident in the early hours of 18/02/25 at Eurostars Plaza Mayor. At approximately 5 AM, a significant water leak occurred on our floor, resulting in an evacuation. While we understand that emergencies can happen, the lack of communication and guest support was entirely unacceptable. Only one person was working in the hotel at that time. When I called to explain the situation to the receptionist they said they would “make a note of it”. Only when I said that we may need to evacuate he came up. He evacuated the floor very well but he didn’t know where to cut the water as he was only in the job for two months and he didn’t know how to access the water valve through the parking. The only person with the access key for the other water valve was the maintenance worker who was at home sleeping and arrived at the hotel 30 minutes later. I had to man the reception as guests were calling asking about the situation and evacuation. Despite waiting in the hotel lobby for over three hours, we received little to no updates regarding the situation or when we could return to our rooms. No refreshments were offered, not even a bottle of water, and there was no attempt to ensure guest comfort during this prolonged inconvenience. I trust that Eurostars Plaza Mayor and hotels.com values its guests and will take appropriate action to compensate and resolve this matter.
