It was a lovely stay. i loved the charm of the hotel and the room design. the welcome surprise package was a sweet gesture. The staff could be more welcoming but Ramona i believe her name was, checked me in and she was very nice. I was very skeptical about staying at a 3 star hotel but the Adler was a feel of a four plus star hotel and i would absolutely stay there again.

Wonderful location in old town Zürich and very walkable. Close to the train station and bus stops. Variety of restaurants in the area. Hotel Alders European breakfast bar was lovely.

A nice little hotel in the old town, conveniently close to the central railway station.
The staff are very helpful and friendly, and not only is there access to free hot drinks, as usual in a hotel, but free water and Coke, too.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel in its perfect location. The staff were so helpful and breakfast was very good. The only downside is the noise at night coming from local bars but that is the price you pay for a city centre location and absolutely no fault of the hotel.

good location in the old city, so close to Grossmunster, Kunsthaus Musuem and many restaurants and shops. The main train station is a few minutes' walk away. The room we had was a bit cramped but we had a lot of luggage. Also, as an older hotel, have to expect some limits on space. The front door of the hotel is up a narrow street which taxis or Uber may not be able to access easily, so we had to move our bags up a cobblestone street. On checkout, a very helpful hotel staff member helped to move our bags to the pick-up point on the main street, which we appreciated very much. The area can be busy but it's not very noisy in the room.
