City Place Hotel

The facility is a bit old and kind of smelly. Staff is friendly and nice.

Nice and clean with parking lot. Close to Tainan train station and overall very convenient and comfortable. The only thing I would say is that they don’t have hair dryer and depending on where the location is, the room may not be as quiet as wanted. Can hear noise from the hallway.

The hotel is located in the older part of town. But that makes it very central and convenient. The staff was wonderfully accommodating, polite and helpful. The room was modern, clean and tidy. There are loads of dining options near the hotel and sights are within walking distance or easily accessible by public transportation. The hotel also has bikes for guests to borrow, although we didn't have a chance to use them (and probably wouldn't have because the traffic is a little too busy).

The hotel is clean and quiet. Free coffee and tea are available all the time. Staff ate nice and friendly. Room is simple and comfortable. Some city’s landmarks and attractions are in short walking distance.

Overall is good within this price range.

I like that they put and refill a small pack of local snack inside the room.

The room was big enough and comfortable, with a nice view on the main road but very quiet. Clean and tidy and really enjoyable. The staff was friendly and professional, thank you.

床單很乾淨，因為皮膚有點敏感，住飯店常會覺得床單讓人發癢，但文悅床單很乾淨，整體住宿環境也乾淨，這點很讚👍。 但是隔音超差，樓上洗澡、沖馬桶都能身歷其境的聽到水流在牆壁裡流動，隔壁關門聲也足以讓你清醒。 洗澡洗一半時，熱水水流變超級小，小到覺得會沖不乾淨還一度轉冷水洗，大概持續五到十分鐘又恢復正常，應該是有別的房間一起用熱水不夠。 如果你的樓上或旁邊沒住人還是很推薦的，畢竟他便宜又乾淨。

This hotel is very clean and comfortable, and their employees are hospitable and helpful. They also have a ground floor sofa area with 24-hour coffee that is great for a short break or meeting with friends. With the summer weather in Tainan, the air-conditioned and well-maintained room here was certainly exactly what we needed.

Compared to our stays pre~COVID, staff have changed and no longer as proactive and friendly as the past. Our sheets were not changed despite putting down the card to request a change of bedsheet. It’s also a shame that the hotel no longer offers breakfast. The staff did help us to call for a taxi when we were leaving and offered to help with the luggage.

Excellent stay - central location, comfortable, clean, quiet.

We thought there was a strange smell. The carpets in the hotel were worn out but we didn't mind as the actual rooms were quite comfortable. Soap shampoo, water bottles were provided and front desk ladies were very courteous and helpful! Would def stay again!

房間乾淨整齊，床好睡，環境安靜，從裝潢能夠感覺到當初設計的用心，房間還出現紅酒杯，我給一百分，雖然我沒有用到，飯店位置非常好，還有停車位（有限數量）

Great location. I had a room with 2 twin beds, which was fine for one person, but it would be a bit cramped for 2.

Great location, very friendly and helpful staff. Good value for money. Would definitely stay here again.
