The Guide Hotel Taipei NTU was clean and quiet, and well located near the MRT station. The service was excellent - they went above and beyond to help us recover a beloved stuffed animal we had left behind.

room was not very clean. You can see dust build up in the corner.

We stayed 4 nights here. Although our room was very small and the floor and shower wall could use some maintenance, the hotel elevator was fast andcl the hotel is very close to the subway line. Shower pressure, temperature and intensity was great as was the mattress. Good value at an expensive time of year.

An OK, simple hotel Furniture in the room is way too old and should be replaced. No cafeteria, but several options nearby. Electronic checking at a machine may be a problem; we arrived around midnight and were lucky that a staff member was on site to help us (the machine did not take our Canadian credit cards and the person had to do something at the back office) Overall, the staff was helpful and kind. They gave me an umbrella as I went for a walk and stored luggage.

excellent location in this part of Taipei. no other hotels exist. rooms are very small, but still serviceable. friendly staff at the front desk.

The staff was incredible. They were very hospitable and greeted us everytime they saw us. It was a good new years!

The room ventilation was not functioning properly and has a strong mould smell. No kettle in room. Old furnishing.

The property can be considered approximately as a pricey three star hotel. The beds seem to be clean but the bathroom is not. Small bugs are visible. To check in or out can be troublesome for non-regional visitors. No coffee or breakfast is available in this facility.

Proximity to train and location with eating options nearby

We booked this hotel based on the reviews and pictures, but in reality, it was completely different. The service overall was okay, except when we were about to check in; the staff started panicking because 3 or 4 groups were checking in at the same time. When we entered the room, the first thing we noticed was peeling wallpaper and damaged walls. Our initial impression was already negative. Moreover, we discovered further damage under the desk. The most unsatisfying part was finding little fleas or ants all over the desks. The shower door couldn't open or close properly. Overall, it was just a bad experience at this hotel. It was our first time here, and it will also be our last

The location is great, but the rooms are quite small.
