民宿距離池上火車站和鬧市不遠，附近亦有兩間便利商店，大坡池亦是步行可達，地點十分方便。闆娘很友善，晨曦房的佈置整潔雅緻，有點可惜的是浴室沒有乾濕分離，走出陽台是面向街道的，不是稻田。
民宿附近有一間租車店，但暫時沒有自行車可出租，只會騎腳踏車的旅人要留意。
