Monka Hotel

Monka Hotel is as close as you can get to Longshan Temple! It’s a lovely small hotel, which makes the most of the small space.

I enjoyed my 8 days at Monka. Aside from friendly staff and the tourist attraction Longshan Temple is next to the hotel, the hotel location is convenient to shop for food and it is within walking distance to public transportations. I would give it 5 stars for property facility if the hotel’s internet speed was faster and have a safe for travellers to lock up their valuables.

A leisurely stroll takes you to historical treasures like Bopiliao Historical blocks and the awe-inspiring Longshan Temple, immersing you in centuries of Taiwanese heritage. And when night falls, the bustling Huaxi Night Market beckons, offering a tantalizing array of sights, sounds, and flavors to explore. But perhaps the crowning jewel of Monka's locale is its proximity to culinary greatness. Within mere steps lies Wang’s Broth, a culinary sanctuary adorned with Michelin stars. Here, each sip and savory bite transports you to gastronomic heaven, tantalizing your taste buds with flavors that linger long after you've left. As I bid farewell to Monka Hotel Taipei, I already find myself eagerly anticipating my return.
