Koh Chang Grandview Resort

Good location, everything accessible, food nearby, staff was excellent and went out of their way to make you feel welcome. Highly recommend

Good location. Property is a little tired and could do with updating. Shower pressure is very low and almost impossible to get a descent shower. Pool could do with a good clean. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately, people who do not live in the hotel can use the sunbeds on the hotel's beach.

nice place, good staff, good location, good room and amenities, only downsides were the beach disappears at higher tides and the hotel should not advertise a double bed when they provide two singles put together

Great location, steps from the pool. My son especially enjoyed stepping out the door and jump into the pool. Cleaning was ok, breakfast not great, the coffee awful but staff seemed friendly and service minded. There was no beach by the hotel but you could get to the sea by steps. Restaurants and shops very close by.

Beautiful hotel right by the sea with lovely grounds to relax in.

We booked 1 week with family. They left and we decided to stay another week as really enjoyed the stay. The beds are the most comfortable I have ever slept on and I have slept on many around the world. Better than my own. Management and staff were friendly and nothing was a bother. If I returned to Koh Chang I would stay again. There is a choice if pool or the sea a few steps away.

The grand view is better than I expected .It is in a good location and the bungalow I was in was clean and well equipped .It only lacked a place to -put your case really .The staff were excellent and the grounds well maintained .I am now in a more expensive hotel on the island but would rather be in the grand view .Only real gripe is the breakfast for westerners was limited ,like most hotels here the Asian breakfast was much better .The wifi in the room was also very good .If I came back to Koh Chang I would stay in the Grand view especially at the price I paid a few months ago .

Perfect surroundings, good food and service. The beach is brilliant and the beach shore packed with restaurants.

My son (23)and I had a great stay. We did more outside of the resort than at the location. But the resort is well maintained. The staff was outstanding and vary helpful. The breakfast was good. The rooms are clean. Pool was nice. Rough texture on the steps of the pool. Som at the reception was vary helpful. She even knows where to go fishing. There is a BBQ buffet 5 km away that is outstanding if you like this style of restaurant. Chang trekking is a must for the family.

Hotel location and room was very comfortable. Tv only so so due to mainly thai speaking tv. Breakfast included but so so quality.

nice budget hotel in quiet location but still very close to restaurants/bars. right on the beach. nice staff and good service. Minus: no in room phones, small pool and not enough sun chairs during busy season.

Conveniently situated near to/in the town with it's bars, shops and restaurants. No beach at high tide but steps leading directly onto the beach at low tide or water at high tide. Just a short walk to the main beach areas and the beach side restaurants etc. The resort is oppositeTesco and Macro, neither of which is noted for noise, so the resort is pleasantly quiet, a bonus given the proximity to the town. Decent gardens take up about 30% of the site and there is a pleasant pool. There are a number of loungers (no cushions though) and deck chairs scattered about, maybe not enough if the resort was full. Breakfast consists of cereals, egg station, toast, salads, 4/5 Thai dishes (very tasty), fresh fruit, sausages and ham. Maybe not entirely suited to European taste, but hey, when in Thailand....... Room is nicely decorated with a good well tiled shower area, good shower, good toileteries, good air con, ancient Tv but a good range of multi language channels, wifi is mainly good, there were a couple of outages, really really comfy bed, no safe, cleaning done well daily, nice outside space with a proper table and chairs plus drying space. There are a lot of really tiny ants in the room, they keep themselves to themselves and aren't a nuisance but I wouldn't consume any food or drink in the room. I was happy with the accommodation. Staff are really friendly. Such nice people the Thais. Staff were celebrating a recent staff wedding while I was there and I was invited.

Great pool and large natural grounds. Rooms would benefit from flat screen tv upgrades.

The staff was great...my uncle is in a wheelchair, and the staff was very helpful in making his life easier....very friendly staff...
