Holiday Inn ANTALYA - LARA by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Horrible place to stay. On the advert they advertise soundproofed rooms! Walls are paper thin, you can clearly hear next door conversations! Sliding door and glass are not soundproofed you can hear outside noise all night. This hotel is in the landing path of the Airport! Aeroplanes landing every 10-15 minutes day and Night!!!! Extremely noisy could not sleep any nights. Stayed for 6 nights. They would move you lower floor but doesn’t matter because of the landing planes. Avoid if you want to rest! Booked well ahead of our arrival and their price was double as the day we arrived! Did not offer any discount. Room cost nearly €1500 for 6 nights breakfast and dinner for 2. Buffet food selection is poor, quality is acceptable but not good. If you choose and pay from the set menu is way higher quality and beautiful presentation. Menu price is not expensive. Outdoor facilities are all closed (winter season) it was 27 degrees at our arrival. Spa is tiny unusable nowhere to rest. No entertainment at all, nothing to do in the hotel cant even sunbathe because its closed. Was not 5 star hotel at all because all facilities where closed (pool area, sunbed area “ winter season in 27 degrees) but they charge you for 5 star hotel price. Interior design is nice but thats how they can sell the rooms online. When you arrive and you notice the noise form landing planes you get the shock! Looks like a transit hotel, big groups arrive every night then they leave in the morning. Avoid!!!

I had to stay 1 night at my room then leave although i booked for 4 nights . the room did not have space for us 2 ppl to move around

We need a place to stay not to far from the hospital. We used this place as we know the brand.

I love this hotel and the front desk clears is amazing

Our stay was generally satisfactory. The staff was courteous and accommodating. However, I encountered a significant issue with the exceptionally thin walls. I was able to discern conversations occurring in adjacent rooms and the sound of children stomping from above, rendering the accommodation not soundproof. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall experience was positive.

Had such a fabulous time here I extended by 2 more days. Pool is refreshingly heavenly. Great rooms - breakfast beyond compare. Staff very helpful indeed. Thank you

Close to Lara Beach

All i got to say is that the staff makes sure to take care of the guests. Me and my wife haven’t had such a welcoming and caring costumer experience like the staff in Antalya IHG. Deff recommend for all inclusive or just to stay. They bring you to a private beach as well offer beach towels and chairs at no cost. However, wouldnt recommend the buffet/restaurant. it isn’t about the price but quality. the food is 2/10. other than that… Nothing to complain. thank you!!

It’s not five stars at all very basic hotel restaurant in middle check in and check out between the chairs so bad

If you expect to sleep don’t stay here! The staff are amazing however the management simply don’t care! Was here for medical tourism - kept awake all night with noise of traffic, wild dogs barking, elevator machinery, doors banging, large noisy tour groups, paper thin walls so you can hear other guests. We have recordings from every night of our stay from inside the room with window and balcony door closed! Raised with staff who offered 2 alternative rooms on lower floors nearer the noise! Offered upgrade to top floor for €150 per night which we of course declined! Noise was unbearable on night 7/14 that staff issued ear plugs!!! Told by IHG Customer Care that the General Manager would contact us within 48 hours - still waitiing! Have requested a refund for the nights we haven’t used and been told No as they offered room on a higher floor - no they didn’t! Also they stated that they had already given us a sea view room on the 9th floor when we booked a city view room like we should be thankful! Maybe the room we booked would have been quieter? We have now moved to another hotel at an additional cost - Do they think we would have done this if they had actually made a suitable alternative? Also they dispute when we complained - regardless of when we complained we paid for a hotel and expect to be able to sleep - pretty basic!!!

Rooms need a little update. Transport to and from the aiport very expensive

Wonderful friendly staff. Clean and cheerful atmosphere. Beautiful view. Good food
