No, the parking is not directly adjacent to the property, it’s an easy walk. Lots of delicious restaurants, nearby. Comfortable beds, clean, bathroom, overall great stay!

Great location and aesthetic. Tight rooms but well designed, great lighting, and very clean. Nice lounge and bar / restaurant area. Offsite parking is easy to access. Appreciated the ice and water refill stations on each floor.

We are writing to express our profound dissatisfaction with our recent stay at the Canopy by Hilton Ithaca from May 16th to May 19th, 2025, booked through Hotels.com. What was meant to be a celebratory graduation weekend turned into a nightmare due to a severe and unresolved issue with our room's air conditioning. Upon check-in, we were assigned a room where the thermostat consistently read 78 degrees Fahrenheit for two nights. Despite our repeated complaints, the front desk was fully aware of the AC malfunction but failed to inform us of this critical issue when we checked in. This lack of transparency was incredibly frustrating, especially given the importance of the weekend. The front desk was aware of this issue but failed to inform us at check-in, which is unacceptable. We received conflicting information from staff regarding the AC problem. It took until our last night to finally move rooms. What's worse, another family member checking in on Sunday was immediately placed on a different floor by the front desk due to the AC issue, highlighting the hotel's inconsistent handling of the situation. While Hilton provided 50,000 points (equivalent to one night) and Hotels.com offered $25 KeyCash, we feel this compensation is insufficient for the prolonged discomfort and disruption. We've stayed at this hotel before without problems, making this a particularly frustrating experience. We value our relationship with Hotels.com and urge you to reconsider the compensation offered.

Our recent stay at Canopy was absolutely delightful! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. The check-in process was quick and easy, and the receptionist was exceptionally friendly. A truly thoughtful touch was the adorable gift bag she prepared for our little dog, Luna. It included a toy and a tasty snack that Luna absolutely loved – it really made her feel like a welcomed guest too! The hotel's location was incredibly convenient for exploring the area. We found it to be close to everything we wanted to see and do, which made getting around a breeze. Our room was clean, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable – we both slept so well! Finally, the check-out process was just as efficient and hassle-free as the check-in. We highly recommend Canopy Hotel for its friendly staff, convenient location, clean and comfortable rooms, and thoughtful touches that truly go above and beyond. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit!

Room was clean and comfortable. Easy check-in. Convenient to Cornell University. Parking garage was around the block so a little inconvenient but otherwise no issue.

Best place in Ithaca commons

Good 2 night stay. Location is convenient to Ithaca College , Cornell and lots of restaurants.

Pleasant stay

It was a little hard to find but we did arrive at night so we missed the small sign. Parking situation is very disappointing because it was stated when booking through Expedia that parking was included but upon arrival we were told we would need to park at a nearby parking lot for a fee. When you are arriving with bags and kids parking should be onsite and not around the corner which, if you are new to the area was hard to find. This soured the otherwise smooth check in process.

The hotel is well located, easy to find and close to Ithica commons and restaurants of all kinds. Our room was great - well lit, clean and quiet. Service was great. Check in and check out wonderful. Only took one Star off because we had an issue with our bathroom light switch and we asked for help but no one came. The good thing was it started working by itself after a while with some coaxing, so no harm done. Breakfast at The Strand was strictly okay, service was very slow however. It was very a pleasant surprise that they had a free shuttle to and fro from Cornell. Wonderful extra. Over all, we had a great stay at The Canopy by Hilton at Ithica and recommend it wholeheartedly.
