The breakfast was the most limited open buffet I have ever seen. The lack of breakfast products such as cheese, olives, tomatoes was very bad. The fact that they use the Hilton name should really be reconsidered. One of the rooms was still not cleaned and ready even though we were there at 4 o'clock. The air conditioner in the room was working very loudly and the technician sent for service said that it could not be fixed until we left the room. When we went to the pool at 9 this morning, they had run out of towels and they said new towels would come at 11. One of the room keys was broken. The building is very old and the area reserved for balconies is even bigger than the rooms, which was very strange. It was really funny that the water in the rooms was paid for. The only good thing was the ocean view. But I think I can find many other hotels in the area with the same view

I stay here often when I’m in the area due to how friendly the staff is and the easy access to the beach. This visit the water kept turning off and on during shows and when brushing teeth. Never could get an exact reason. Other than that great hotel!

Will not go back. First of all, the picture do not match the reality. When looking for a place to stay, we were sold by the pictures and were very disappointed. The room was very old and outdated. Very dirty. Dust on baseboards, carpets were very dirty and room was not thoroughly cleaned. It did not feel like a pleasant vacation especially for the price that we paid. We had a hard time reaching different places in the hotel when using a phone. On first evening we were tired from the road and wanted to order dinner in the room, but no body picked up the phone, when left a voice message, they never called back. Tried call front desk to be transferred back to the in room dining which never got picked up. We ended up ordering pizza from outside. Customer service is very poor. We had to request room service. Even then, the room was never cleaned, just same beds were made and new towels. We booked a room for 6 but were only given 3 towels and wash clothes. Like seriously??? Are we supposed to share? Had to request extra towels every day. The description did not include the fact that during rain, the close their pools, indoor pool and their sauna. When booking a place, we were looking for a indoor pool for a case of rain so that kids would have something to do, but were told they close during rain. The need to disclose that in their description and not charge the resort fee. Why charge a resort fee if you can’t use any of resort’s amenities??? Valet service was terrible.

Excellent staff and services. But, I expected more from the cleaning. The bathroom a crack, not cleaned enough. They are some dirty in the corner of the bathroom, never seen in any hotel before. They have shampoo in the bottle, but no hair conditioner. I realize that after shampooing. My hair was hard to managing. Honestly, I expected more for the stars and this expensive price of this hotel

Room was ok. Bathroom area was kind of dirty and had spots on the floor. And the carpet doesn’t look like it’s been cleaned in a while. But the beds were clean and comfy.

On our last day, maintenance took over 30 minutes to fixed the door to allow my family back into the room. My 81year old father needed his medication and was no longer able to stand then we had hum to sit on stairs until maintenance arrived. Asking to speak to a manager was a joke, the phone kept ringing. The front desk transferred me to speak to someone, knowing no one was available. People staring at us as if we did something wrong.. The door still was not fixed because my husband had to knock to re-entered into room. The people across hall grocery sat in hall for hours.

WILL NOT RETURN. Overpriced for what you receive. In the 4 night stay, we had 4 different incidents; (1) Changed rooms twice due to a water leak causing the carpet to be wet, (2) Air unit DID NOT work properly in third room causing excessive HEAT (82 degrees) but was repaired, (3) battery went out in door lock, and (4) after battery replace door had to opened from the inside using a "fishing pole" creating a security concern for us.

Unfortunately, the Embassy Suites Resort at Myrtle Beach was not a good experience. I would not recommend staying here. I am typically understanding but the service was one of the worst I have ever experienced. I had two guests that I invited along with me and I feel bad for choosing this resort as they felt the same. After waiting in a very long line to check in, we were told we could not check in over an hour past check in time because the staff was behind. Staff was very rude and had very little urgency or enthusiasm seemingly very burnt out and unhappy. Several times it was even vocalized to us. The poolside bar was closed even when it wasn’t raining. The hotel amenities are not as advertised or worth the resort pricing. The hotel elevators could not handle the volume of guests or was having issues because we waited 15 min or more in long lines most times that we used it. The restaurant onsite was disorganized as well underrepresenting wait times and telling guests that there weren’t enough umbrellas to seat people outside even after they waited long periods of time on a waitlist.
