GALLERYone - a DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel

The suite we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. The only part I didn’t agree with was the $55 parking after spending $550 on a room. That should have been included.

Excellent accommodation. Very clean. Great location. Great view from balcony. The $55.00 a day charge for parking might be excessive.

The hotel refused to honor Hilton Honors membership. Their reason was that the reservation was made through Hotels.com. This meant that membership amenities like wifi were not available as Hilton benefits during the stay. In addition to that, the hotel is filthy.

We had issues with road noise from the 6th floor because this hotel is off the highway. The noise was like a window or door was open and that was not the case. We paid a premium for a two bedroom suite, neither bathroom had a full roll of toilet paper no extra toilet paper. There wasn’t one wash rag between both bathrooms, and one of the bathrooms had large black smudges on the ground. The shower was terrible paint literally fell from the ceiling while I was showering because the shower head was spraying the ceiling. The shower head was also spraying outside the shower so it soaked the entire bathroom floor which I had to use all extra towels to dry up. All these issues and they gave me $120 worth of food credit which pails in comparison to what the room cost. I would not recommend this hotel if you have issues they really don’t care.

Dirty rooms never going again

Parking is 55 per night Valet only. Rooms are old. Carpet is old, kitchenettes are old. You can tell they have tried to update the rooms but they still feel old and cheaply updated.

Frint desk staff was rude at checkin. The room was in bad conditions Th bathroom terrible Hole in the sheet. Lid of toilet loose, shower broken , No power in the living room. Terrible instructions for WIFI. We wanted to change the room, and they were rude about it. I stay at Hilton for great service, but this place didn’t have it. Will not stay here again.

I liked that it was convenient location. What I didn't like was the cleaning staff didn't clean our room daily.

Beautiful outside

I enjoyed our stay. I love this property, it's locations and amenities. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and I like the small kitchen. There was an alarm blinking in the bedroom that needs attention and we didn't have a full compliment of towels and wash clothes but otherwise the stay was great. One day only one elevator was working which made getting around a little delayed but I will stay here again.

Property is not on the beach but it is a safe walking distance over the bridge. Maybe a 6 minute walk. It’s a suite which is good.

Place was very cold had to pay for breakfast I won’t stay there again

After being out for a new year’s event. I get to my room turn on the lights first thing I see is roaches on the walls. I was move to a different room. My wife immediately start sneezing. So with me be a mold tech I start immediately start looking mold. And of course there’s mold in the room. Tv didn’t work at all the bathroom looked like something off a scary movie. My worst hotel experience ever. All the rooms are out dated with terrible maintenance.

Pool too cold. Hot tub burning hot and jets don’t work. Bartender at outside bar foul mouth, terrible drinks, poor service. Family member ordered food from him and when it didn’t come 45 minutes questioned him, oops forgot to put order in.

We stayed at Gallery One for three days before our cruise. The location was great only a few blocks from the beach and from the Galleria Mall. It is also located on the marina. After we arrived, we rented a car to get around Ft. Lauderdale. When we arrived back at the property with the car we were told there is only valet parking which was an additional $50 per day. What a scam. Had we known this we would have chosen another hotel. Not only was it expensive, it was inconvenient and cost us extra time as we had to wait 20 minutes to get our car. Secondly, there was a foul garbage smell in the room. We reported it several times but it was never rectified. We had to check out of the room. Lastly, there was a large leak in the bathroom. We also reported this. Housekeeping was sent to inspect, they wiped up the water, but it returned. I must say, the housekeeping staff and front desk were very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, they were unable to handle the maintenance problems with the property.

No parking for you to park, had to pay $50 for valet per day. Housekeeping staff knocked on the door at 9am, opened the door and walked in, mind you the checkout was at 11am. On New Year’s Day, so you know it wasn’t cheap disappointed.

Not worth the money, they don’t wash the floors, they only dust mop. I had to walk with a towel under my shoes to clean the floor. It was dirty black! The furniture was old and discolored. Toilet kept running. Dishwasher old and rusty. Patio doors let it the wind. Don’t expect it to be more than a camper with water.
