early check in was a waste since we had to do everything there anyway. The first room wrecked of cigarette smoke so they quickly gave us a new, upgraded room. They offered us no additional sheets or blankets for the pullout sofa and they knew we had 5 people on the reservation. They told us we only had the pillow (which had no pillow case), flat sheet, and fleece blanket. They refused to give us a fitted sheet and a pillow case, the pillow case is wild to me because that’s honestly gross to not have it covered or even provide one upon request. The room was dirty anyway and had hair on the floor. The front desk person was not friendly, although it was clear she was being over worked (since she was there at 5pm and still there at 8am). No ice or water available, unless it’s morning. We also were told no to pool towels and we had to wait until the pool opened to have them. When they did our towels they took all of them and left us only 3 body towels and did not replace any of the face or hand towels. The bathroom was very small and did not lock. The water pressure was good.

Charged us $100 for the bed not being made. In addition will not return our $200 deposit. When we about the $100 cleaning charge that they never told us about they said we “you made a mess and you have to accept it” The bed wasn’t made and there were paper towels on the counter because there was no garbage can anywhere. In addition it is a party hotel that expects people to come and destroy the place and they threw my husband and I into that category. We were there overnight because a pipe broke in our house, so we went at 11pm for one overnight. There was a loud party with police on scene. Pay the extra money for a more reputable hotel.

I will never stay at this place. Did not receive room as promised. Room they gave us was dirty and had bugs. Service was really bad. Requested money back a thought they would at least try and accommodate was, but they just said to go sit at the desk and contact Expedia for a refund. I would absolutely not recommend staying at the Wyndham in Tinton Falls. First, they attempted to charge my card before I even arrived. When I got there, I was greeted by a swarm of massive bees right outside our so called “suite.” The exterior was rundown and looked nothing like the photos online,which were clearly misleading. There was no fire pit as advertised, and the rooms felt old and poorly maintained, with visible cracks and chipped paint. The TVs were outdated and didn’t support streaming, leaving us stuck with basic cable. The WiFi was nearly unusable. We were only given two towels and two washcloths, and when I requested more, they handed over just two additional sets and claimed housekeeping would bring more—which never happened. Overall, this was a disappointing and frustrating experience. If I could give it a 0 out of 10, I would.
